Storm Center Shreiners 1988
I bought this one along with Pinafore Pink atCostco and they both appeared to bloom as advertised. What a surprise ! The irises where packaged and sold by the company Practical Gardener and were of fine quality. What was impressive was that Storm Center in indeed a quality large dark purple that can hold it's own nicely with Dusky Challenger. I had to compare them closely to tell them apart. Storm Center was on the short side for a TB in 2002 but then again, so was Dusky Challenger. We'll see how things go in Spring after having another year to settle in.
