Pink Tafetta but not sure ?
I bought this as a dry bare root rhizome labeled as Pink Tafetta at Reno Depot. It's large blooms and robust growing habits have earned it a permanant place in my garden. I keep hearing about how tough pinks are to grow in this zone 4b climate but I don't appear to have any difficulty. Pink was a color I though I'd never like in an iris, but when I saw BEVERLY SILLS, I was blown away. This iris is large, vigorous and very tall with good branching. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to cross it with pollen from HONEY SCOOP. Any Ideas ?
