Honky Tonk Blues Schreiner's 88
This iris appears to be one of the tougher Dykes medal growers that I have in the garden. This beauty requires no special growing medium to survive and produce tall stalks. I grew it in mostly shade in zone 5b in the past and it did well , in the garden here ( zone 4b ) , it's planted in sand and composted leaves on clay. A striking isis which is fertile both ways.
