This turkey game is one the kids really enjoy. To make this game, attach two small paper plates together in the middle with a brad. Use construction paper to design a turkey head on the top plate. Run off several feathers of the color words you are working on. Also, make a color word spinner with each color word in a section, along with a "you pick the color" space. The game is played by each child spinning the color word spinner. He/she identifies the color word and chooses that feather to put on the turkey. The feather will fit in between the two plates as shown in the picture above. The first person to get all eight feathers on the turkey is the winner.
