Materials Needed to Make One Ornament
1 half sheet of red construction paper
1/4 sheet of yellow construction paper
1/4 sheet pink construction paper
1/2 sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 copy paper cut the long way
1 shimmery gold pipe cleaner
markers for eyes and mouth
heart pattern to trace for wings
hair pattern to trace on yellow
face pattern to trace on pink
scissors
stapler
tape

Directions:
Trace heart pattern on red construction paper. Cut it out and write name on the back. Trace hair pattern on yellow. Trace face pattern on pink or other face color of choice. Use markers to add facial features. I always encourage my students to add hearts for cheeks to give it that sweet look. Glue the face to the hair. Fold the white ditto paper like a fan. Place the head on top of the fan and place that on top of the heart. Use a stapler to attach the head, dress and wings together. Bend the pipe cleaner at the top into an L and curve it around to make a halo. Turn the angel over and tape the halo to the back. Use the halo part to hang on the Christmas tree.
