New Hance to Grandview
This hike leads you 8 miles down the New Hance Trail to Hance Rapids and onto the Tonto Trail another 6 miles or so to Hance Creek then up another 3 miles or so to Horseshoe Mesa. The climb up the eastern arm of the mesa from Page Spring is very steep with a very very steep drop off. I would never do it again. I would rather walk to the north side of the mesa and take the easy way up. From Horseshoe Mesa to the rim is about 4 1/2 miles. The total mileage of this hike is about 23 miles.
