Bringing it Back Home:
Wendy's and McKenzie's collection of "real life" stories

But first, a little introduction:
McKenzie and I don't read a lot of fanfic, so this may not be what you are expecting. Our version is self insertion into the Batman Universe, strictly DC Comics with a little inspiration drawn from other Batman media. It doesn't have anything to do with the fanfic versions of the Batman characters; we try to keep it close to what the DC characters might do.

The main players are obviously Batman, me (Wendy), McKenzie, and Nightwing with various appearances by other Batman characters and some of our own friends as well. It's based on what might happen if I somehow managed to marry Batman (it's fiction, isn't it?). McKenzie comes to visit me one day and then stays forever, getting set up with the job of sidekick and hooking up with Nightwing. This is a collection of a few of our stories about our life before and around this time.

As far as fanfiction goes, most of this stuff is pretty tame. Though there are allusions to sex (what married life is without it?) there are no explicit scenes. There isn't a unusually high percentage of homosexuality. The main focus is humor and how the characters including ourselves would react in certain situations. We take on the DC Comic Universe as a whole including past and present, but mostly focus on the Batman and Justice League circuits. There might be things that allude to strictly comic based information; we don't consider the movies and television shows as part of our universe.
