It seems that Cumulus still doesn't understand how bad a decision they made when money blurred their vision.
It is time to get Coffey & Jammer back on the air in this market.
It seems the most likely fit at the present time would be 105.7 The X on the afternoon drive time slot.
With Howard Stern in the morning and Coffey & Jammer in the afternoon the "X" would soundly kick TPA's butt in the ratings.
Join me in writing to the station locally, and Citadel Broadcasting's corporate people in Las Vegas NV, asking them to consider the C&J show for this time slot.
I'm including the contact info I have available at the moment, and will update these contacts as more come to my attention.
Remind them just how many former listeners of WTPA's Coffey & the Jammer show have signed our petition, tuned TPA out, and expressed their thoughts to Cumulus about their decision. The addition of the Coffey & Jammer show to their daily lineup will bring thousands of new listeners to their station. Not "might bring"....WILL BRING.
I've included the contact info I presently have in a post on the message board too. You can see that post by clicking here. Please add a post to the message board letting us all know you've contacted Citadel, or send an email to me. Just trying to get a feel for how many out there are still actively supporting our cause.

Management Profiles
Personal opinion. Look at the profile of COO Judy Ellis. She has a very bad habit of keeping her stations at or near the top of the market. This is the person we need in our camp to get this done.
text below directly from Citadel's website:
Judy is the Chief Operating Officer for Citadel Communications. She joined Citadel Communications in February of 2003. Judy has many years experience in radio station management with Emmis Communications, where she was the Senior Vice President, and Marketing Manager. While employed with Emmis Communications, she managed one of the most profitable market clusters in the country, having kept all of her stations consistently in the Top 10 in the #1 Market in the country. Judy has earned many accolades including 'General Manager of the Year' Radio and Records and one of Radio Ink Magazine's top radio managers in the country and one of the most influential women in broadcasting.
