Xtreme Wrestling Federation is back and better than ever according to its most loyal fans. But did Thursday Night Fight Night really live up to expectations? Triple H was re-injured, Ken Kennedy became Television Champion, but not without controversy. And Chris Benoit defeated his "Friend" Raven in a match of his own rules to top off the show. We also saw the World Heavyweight Championship Tournament get underway as Four lucky Superstars advanced and Four more will look to do the exact same with Round Two just around the corner as The XWF rolls into Orlando, Florida. Participating in the second round and making his XWF re-debut inside a ring is none other than the last and the longest tenured XWF World Heavyweight Champion in Federation History, Randy Orton. The Former Champion is hellbent on reclaiming that wich he had never lost in the first place and this World Title Tournament is nothing but a bump in the road on a path that he feels is already set in stone. But that first "bump" in the road is a rather large one as Randy Orton has the unfortunate task of taking on the Monster Abyss in the First Round this Thursday on the Second Edition of Fight Night. Randy didnt waste much time in picking sides last week on Fight Night when he aligned himself with "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters and re-aligned himself with XWF Owner and Chairman, Vince McMahon. Renewing an old Alliance from the XWF of past. What this means for the rest of the XWF Roster it is still unknown but it's almost certian it wont be good news for Abyss or anyone else that stands in the way for that matter. So with Alliances already being formed and a clash of titans on the horizon the XWF is looking to heat things up for the Summer and bring back a Standard of Wrestling Excellence the Wrestling World hasn't seen since... well since the last time XWF was around, duh. So fasten your seatbelts and hold onto your chairs internet fanboys and XWF loyalists alike. XWF is about to kick off the beginning of Summer with a big bang.
January 25th, 2004 "They said it couldnt be done..." "Randy Orton has Defeated Triple H in an Empty Arena Match for the World Heavyweight Championship!"
April 4th, 2004 "The Year of Randy Orton.. what a year it was." "Yet another title defense for The Champ, Randy Orton. Can anyone beat this man?!"
April 23rd, 2004 "Than it all came to an end.. but not the way it should have." "The Xtreme Wrestling Federation closed its doors today, ending a Four Year Run at the top of the Wrestling World."
June 8th, 2006 "And Now.. The XWF is back. I'M BACK!" "Orton spins The Rock around, RKO!!! The Rock just got drilled into the canvas with an RKO!"
"Back to take what is mine.."

Two Years. Its been Two Long Years since the Xtreme Wrestling Federation closed its doors. Ending one of the longest streaks ontop of the Wrestling Industry. Providing the absolute best in Sports Entertainment and Professional Wrestling. But what really happened? What caused such a good thing to go bad? The Company seemed to be on the top of its game at the time and nothing came close to competing with it, and than it all came crashing down.
XWF FLASHBACK<< New York City, New York (Madison Square Garden)
"Ladies and Gentlemen this match is for the Xtreme Wrestling Federation WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP. The Champion, Randy Orton versus. The Challenger, Jamie Noble. Randy Orton has been Champ for about Four Months now and if Jamie Noble wants to even come close to beating Randy Orton he's going to have to give it his all here tonight."
The Cameras come to life with the voice of former XWF Announcer Joey Styles sitting ringside announcing the last match the XWF ever had. Jamie Noble challenging Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight title on the last Edition of Redemption back in April of 2004. The bell has already rung and the match is underway as we take a step back into XWF History and witness the last match of the XWF.
"Randy is coming off of a hard fought non-title match with New Era Wrestling's own Val Venis. A match in wich he lost and you can bet he's still bitter about it. You can almost tell he is just by looking at him. Off the ropes."
Randy Orton throws Jamie Noble off the ropes and connects with a clothesline. He stops to strike a pose, gaining much heat from the crowd as he usually does. Randy than picks up Noble by what little hair he has and backs him into the corner, connecting with a few lefts and rights causing Noble to stagger and drop to his knees.
"Randy Orton is just brutalizing Jamie Noble here in the early minutes of this match."
Again Randy flaunts and poses much to the crowds dismay and Jamie Noble begins to fight back! But than Randy puts him down with a straight knee to the gut, knocking the air out of his lungs. Randy is just toying with the challenger, growing more and more confident by the second.
"The Champion isn't even giving the Challenger the light of day here folks. This isnt going to be much of a match at all if Jamie Noble doesnt start fighting back and quick."
Just than as if right on cue Jamie Noble counters a right hand from Randy and begins an attack of his own.
" Jamie Noble has the Champion on the defensive! He has him on his heels! dropkick!"
And just like that Randy Orton is reeling backwards and off the ropes into a sleeper hold.
FLASH FORWARD>> The Scene is quickly moved forward as we see the match in fast forward and it finally comes to a stop moments later with Randy Orton stalking Jamie Noble for his patented finisher: The RKO.
"RKO! RKO! RKO Randy Orton has connected with the RKO, it looks to be over folks."
Randy covers Jamie Noble, hooking the leg and grinning from ear to ear. One. Two. Three. Randy Orton was just toying with Jamie Noble all match. Yet another title defense for the Champion. Randy stands up and demands that his title be given to him as he than rolls out of the ring and is greeted by his manager Sable. The two make their way backstage as the cameras follow them to the Corporate Locker Room for the postmatch celebration.
THE PROSPEKT Randy Orton: "Did you see that Sable? I made short work of yet another supposed "Challenger" to my World Heavyweight Title. I didnt even break a sweat."
" I sure did Randy baby, just like all the others before him. Triple H, Stevie Richards, The Rock.."
THE PROSPEKT Randy Orton: "And Jamie Noble.. what a joke. If this is the best the XWF has to offer I might as well retire ontop of my game right here and now. Last week I unified the nEw title with the XWF title making me the Undisputed XWF Champion. I'm the man who single handidly put an end to that pathetic "nEw Invasion". I have a title reign that is longer than all of the former XWF Champions combined. What more is there for me to do?"
Randy takes a sip of Champagne as Sable runs her hands across his chest.
"Beat Stevie Richards again at Collision Course and assure yourself a spot in the Hall of Fame. That's the one thing that alludes you Randy... the one piece of the puzzle that's missing."
THE PROSPEKT Randy Orton: "Immortality.."
"Yes! And you will become the greatest Superstar the World has seen."
A maniacal grin comes across Randy Ortons face as Sable seems to have found the one thing that has been out of his reach all of this time. The one thing that would top off his illustrious wrestling career. Randy takes yet another sip of champagne and just as he puts his glass down there is a knock at the door.
THE PROSPEKT Randy Orton: "Come in.."
The door opens and in walks The Corporate Mastermind, XWF Chairman and Owner Vince McMahon. Randy smiles and greets Vince with a hug, Vince is reluctant at first but than gives in as a disconcerning look fills his face.
"Randy.. we need to talk."
THE PROSPEKT Randy Orton: "Sure thing Vince, what's on your mind?"
"I mean alone.. Sable can you excuse us please."
Vince looks to Sable as a confused look comes over Randys face.
THE PROSPEKT Randy Orton: "We're all family here Vince, just tell us what it is."
"I SAID LEAVE DAMNIT!"
Sable quickly makes her way out of the locker room closing the door behind her as Vince takes a seat on the leather couch, burying his face in his hands.
THE PROSPEKT Randy Orton: "Vince, what the hell is going on? Arent you happy for me? I defended my title yet again.. The Corporation is as strong as ever."
"Yes Yes, I know. That's all great to hear Randy but it means nothing now.."
THE PROSPEKT Randy Orton: "Nothing? What'ya mean it means nothing? Isnt this what you wanted for The Corporation? for the XWF? A Champion people can be proud of. A Champion with great looks and.."
"Randy would you just shut the hell up for once in your life and listen?! [he calms himself] You're going to have to sit down for what I have to tell you.."
Randy hesitantly takes a seat beside Vince.
"It's over Randy.. it's all over."
THE PROSPEKT Randy Orton: "What's over Vince?"
"The Corporation.. Your Reign as Champion. The XWF.. it's all over. We're closing Randy."
Randy looks as if he has seen a ghost and swallowed his tongue at the same time. The usual cocky and vibrant glow we see upon Randys face is no more, instead we see a look of sheer terror.
THE PROSPEKT Randy Orton: "What?.."
"There's no misinterpreting it now..we're shutting down, closing the doors, we're finished.."
THE PROSPEKT Randy Orton: "But why?.. Look Vince I'll do whatever it takes to keep the XWF open, just tell me what needs to be done. You cant do this to me! not now!"
"It's out of my control now Randy, it's completely out of my hands. All the problems with Shane and our backers finally came to a head.. I'm sorry."
THE PROSPEKT Randy Orton: "Shane? is he the problem?! I'll take that little son've bitch and beat his share of XWF out of him if that's what needs to be done, just give me the word Vince and I'll do it. You need money? I've got money! here take all I've got! Take it all!"
Randy reaches in his pockets and turns them inside out, handing wads of cash to Vince in a frantic hurry.
"What the hell are you doing?! Take your money back, it wont help! [Vince hands Randy his money back and fixes his suit] Now.. that Son've a bitch is my son and that bitch is my wife.. You know what nevermind.. it doesnt matter anymore. I'll give you time to collect your thoughts, and your things."
Vince puts his hand on Randys shoulder as an attempt to console him but Randy has already sunk into a deep depression, you can tell just by looking at his face and body posture.
THE PROSPEKT Randy Orton: "No.. not like this.."
"I'm sorry Randy.. I really am."
Vince slowly turns around and makes his way out of the room opening the door to an eavesdropping Sable with her ear against the door. She stumbles right into Vince's arms embarassed that she got caught. The two than leave Randy to himself pulling the camera crew out with them. Moments after the door is shut a loud shattering sound can be heard as well as a muffled scream from inside the Corporate Locker Room.
THE PROSPEKT Randy Orton: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
END FLASHBACK Randy wakes up in a hurry, breaking out in a full sweat as we come to the realization that it wasnt a flashback on tv at all, but instead it was a dream/nightmare of Randy Ortons recalling the night that the XWF closed.
THE LEGACY Randy Orton:[breathing heavily]"Holy Shit.."
"What's wrong sexy?"
We realize that Randy isnt alone in bed.(is he ever?) And as the unknown female attempts to sooth Randy back into lying down Randy can only think about the nightmare.
"Randy? Are you okay?"
THE LEGACY Randy Orton:"What? Yeah Yeah.. I'm fine. I just need something to drink."
Randy gets up out of bed and leaves the room heading towards the kitchen. Randy opens the fridge and takes out a bottle of water than turning his attention towards the phone where a red number 3 blinks on and off over and over. Randy walks over to the phone and hits the "message" button.
*beep*
"Hey Randy, it's Torrie. Just calling to see how you're doing. Anyways call me back as soon as you can. Bye.."
*beep*
"Hey You, Rena calling. I havent heard from you in awhile, call me.".."
*beep*
"Randy, it's Vince. Look, we need to have a talk. I cant talk about this over the phone so just come and see me in person would you please? And bring the belt.."
*end of messages*
Randy cracks a smile as he is reminded he is still in possession of the prized XWF World Heavyweight Championship.
THE LEGACY Randy Orton:"Bring the belt?.. [he laughs] Bring the belt? And what if I dont? What if I keep it and put an end to this stupid little tournament before it even begins. Afterall I am still the Undefeated, Undisputed, CHAMPION. A belt I never lost is now being put up for grabs in a tournament that is a complete sham if you ask me. "The Board of Directors want to see a newly crowned champion to start the XWF's return off right." Well SCREW the Board of Directors. I think I'll keep the damn belt and stick it to Vince like he stuck it to me two years ago."
Randy breathes in and breathes out calming himself down before he gets too upset over a situation he cannot control.
THE LEGACY Randy Orton:"No.. I wont do that. I won that belt with my own blood and sweat and I'll be damned if I'm still standing and someone tries to take it from me. As long as I'm still in the tournament I've got nothing to worry about. Once again I will prove all the haters wrong and show the doubters that Randy Orton has endless talent and ability and can overcome any odds. A travesty is being commited within the XWF that I just cannot allow."
Randy stares directly into the camera lens.
THE LEGACY Randy Orton:"Abyss, you stand in the way of what is mine and I'll be DAMNED if I let you deny me of what is rightfully mine. Be prepared for the fight of your life because the belt is going NOWHERE but back around my waist where it belongs. Abyss I'm prepared to do things I never thought I'd be capable of but if thats what it takes to keep what is mine than so be it. It has been two long years since I last stepped foot in a ring. The XWF has been gone for too long but one thing will always stay the same no matter what. Because like Diamonds.."
Randy shoves the camera out of his face and all we see is static.
Abyss?
