WHAT GOES UP - MUST COME DOWN... and Randy Orton came down alright.. came down hard Suffering a defeat against one Rob Van Dam in a match that could very well be destined for the record books. But Rob Van Dam just like every other XWF Superstar in the past needed help in some way, shape, or form to beat Randy Orton on that given night. Rob Van Dam had and needed the aide of the man who Randy will be facing at Gravity in just a few short days with his beloved World Title on the line, THE ROCK. The man that Randy Orton cost the Royal Rumble match just a few weeks ago back in January of Two Thousand and Four. And just last week Randy was set to face Rob Van Dam and The Rock in Tag Team Action with Taz as his partner. But when Shawn Michaels suspended Taz, Randy Orton decided that he has indeed had enough and walked out throwing the match and leaving Vince McMahon and the rest of us to wonder just where The Corporation stands going into Gravity. Whos side is Vince McMahon really on, and is Randy Orton in the right frame of mind walking into his first World Title Defense EVER against The Rock this Sunday Night at Gravity. Things aren't looking as good as they used to when Randy and The New Corporation were running wild so to speak all over The XWF, now it looks as if they are on their last breath and everything could very well come to an end for Randy Orton and The Corporation come Sunday. But it wouldn't be the first time that Randy Orton has been backed up into a corner and came out fighting and eventually coming out on top. The Rock is has his eyes set on World Title Gold and a one way ticket to Wrestlemania but Randy isn't about to let his Dream slip out of his hands that easily. It's going to be a story of who wants it more, who is the man who is willing to take that risk.. I think we all know the answer to that. Both mens hopes, dreams, and pride are on the line.. but only one will reach his goal.

Orton ducks a big boot from Taker and nails him with a reverse neck breaker.. and so it began.. FAST FORWARD>> ROYAL RUMBLE 2004 Orton slams a steel chair into the back of The Rock's head! Rock didn't even see Orton! This is a damn shame here people! A travesty! The Rock is leaning on the ropes out cold, The Rock's been hit by Orton and the chair! and doesn't even know where he is anymore. Chris Jericho, the man that he is sees the The Rock and dumps Rock out of Rumble with ease! The Rock has been eliminated thanks to Randy Orton. the champion throws the first punch.. REWIND<< REDEMPTION 2 Weeks Ago Rob Van Dam is going up top.. FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH from Rob Van Dam ...NO! Orton moved out of the way! Orton struggles to his feet and leaps onto van Dam, but only gets a two count! Orton lifts Van Dam up, RKO, NO! Van Dam shoves Orton into the ref knocking him down! Orton spins around and ducks the spinning back kick, RKO! RKO TO VAN DAM! Wait a second! The Rock! The Rock comes dashing down the ramp as he slides into the ring, ROCK BOTTOM! Rock Bottom to Randy Orton! Rock rolls Van Dam over onto Orton. The Rock wakes the referee up as he climbs out of the ring! 1...2....3!!! The Rock has screwed Randy Orton! but will it be his last?..

Prospektive: The Promo for Gravity comes to an end as the screen remains black for a brief moment, causing some unknown idiot out there in TV Land to believe that his TV is now broken and he may need to purchase a new one. But before they can get up to hit the damn thing something pops up onto the TV Screen again. You can sit down now and stop hitting your Television, it's going to be fine. The scene on the television screen.. well it's dark.. reall really dark, but a few streaks of light shine through and onto Randy Ortons face. The World Title is resting in his lap and Randy obviously looks upset about somethingas he buries his face in hid hands but what? what is this place? Randy walked out on Vince McMahon and his match against Rob Van Dam and The Rock last week on Redemption and hasn't been seen or heard from since.
'THA PROSPEKT' Randy Orton: " I can't go on like this much longer Father.. I've got my own friends, people I thought I could trust and that had my back, disapearing when I needed them the most. Where the hell was Vince when The Rock screwed me out of my match with Rob Van Dam two weeks ago on Redemption? Where was Mick Foley or Charlie Haas when these new guys like Edge and Taz, or The Rock and Rob Van Dam who just have no respect for the true Superstars of this business. "
Prospektive: Somewhere close by a man speaks up so softly that he might as well be whispering. But due to the darkness we don't know where the voice is coming from or who it belongs too. Randy stares down at The XWF World Title in an almost Hypnotic State for a moment as he listens on.
" Randy, you mustn't allow yourself to get all pent up and frustrated about the little things. This match you had with Rob Van Dam, obviously it wasn't for that world title of yours, so what if you lost officially. Everyone must realize that you are the true winner and cheaters never prosper.. "
'THA PROSPEKT' Randy Orton: " You would think that would be the case Father but it's not.. instead Rob Van Dam gets praised for cheating to beat me. Instead people are saying that The Rock is the next XWF World Champion and Randy Ortons days are numbered. They don't realize that I will do whatever it takes to hold onto this World Title, to hold onto MY World Title. They don't realize that going to my first WrestleMania and being in the Main Event as World Champion has been my goal since day one and I'm that much closer to achieving that this Sunday. It would have been sooner but Shawn Michaels had to stick his nose in my business and force me to defend my belt at Gravity. The Rock is going to need an act of god to beat me Sunday.. "
Prospektive: Is it Randys Dad hidden in the darkness? Why is Randy calling the man behind the hidden voice Father? this all seems so strange. Randys hand glides across the nameplate on his world title belt as he begins falling back into that all too familiar trance again.
" Randy my son.. I'm beginning to grow worried about you. This.. career of yours Randy, it has driven you to the edge and I fear you may be at the point of no return. "
'THA PROSPEKT' Randy Orton: " The Point of no return? The point of no return is selling out to make a couple lame Movies, or being sentenced.. yes sentenced to a match with me. Because that's what is going down (no pun intended) at Gravity. The Rock is being sentenced to death, the death of his pathetic wrestling career AND acting career. Because after I'm done with The Rock nobody will want to even shine a light on him. "

'THA PROSPEKT' Randy Orton: " I'm a Wrestler that's what I do.. if I don't use every tool that I have inside of that ring, guys like The Rock are just going to keep on stealing matches like Rob Van Dam did two weeks ago. If I don't have eyes in the back of my head The Rock is going to try and steal my World Heavyweight Title.. he's going to try to take away my chance to go to my first WrestleMania as Champion. He's a threat to what I have in store for The Future and when it comes down to it I am going to deal with The Rock as I see fit.. by any means possible. Like a cornered animal Randy Orton will turn The Hunter into The Hunted and The Rocks sad excuse for a World Championship attempts will be stomped out by my perfectly polished boot. "
Prospektive: Randys stomps on the ground signifying the end of The Rocks XWF Wrestling Career as a grin forms from ear to ear and doesn't go away. The light shining through the little holes in the confined space Randy is seated in lands perfectly on the diamonds of Randys World Championship nameplate as he hoists it up onto his shoilder and even goes as far as kissing it as a newfound confidence seems to be circulating through his veins.
'THA PROSPEKT' Randy Orton: " if The Rock or that damn sorry ass Commisioner Shawn Michaels think that they can phase the best Champion that the XWF has ever seen they're sadly mistaken. Not only am I better looking than The Rock, I've got more Talent, and if there was a contest for the best third generation Superstars in this business today, I think it would be safe to say that I would come in first place before The Crock.. "
" Randy my son.. you can't continue on down this path of ahteful feelings. Your so called friends in The Corporation.. where are they now? Where are they when the times get rough. No in fact, I know that I disagree with you because when it comes to being The XWF World Heavyweight Champion nobody can do it better than Randy Orton. This belt looks better on me than it ever would on someone like The Rock or any other XWF Superstars besides me for that matter. I was made to be a Champion and Vince McMahon saw it.. that's why I turned to him and he was someone I could trust. [ randy pauses ] But than Vince lets Shawn Michaels make a match like the one this Sunday in an attempt to endanger my World Title Reign. Well it's just not going to happen. WrestleMania Three is just over the horizon and The Rock will be forced to return to his "People" to be comforted after suffering the biggest loss of his XWF existance. "

'THA PROSPEKT' Randy Orton: " I have my mind set on defending the World Title that I have wanted since I arrived in the XWF. and now that I have it I'll be damned if I'm going to let another one of Shawn Michaels personal lackeys get in my way. WrestleMania.. the biggest spectical that this business has to offer, may god haver mercy on The Rocks soul because sunday at Gravity I am going to destory the man that is known as The Rock.. I am going to put to rest what so many people adore. The Rock comes for my World Title but doesn't know he will pay with his life if it comes down to it because I wont hesitate to go the extra length to keep what is mine. I will not be discouraged from my original path to WrestleMania, The Rock is nothing but an obstacle. "
" Well if that be the case than I suppose there is no other way for this to end. But don't let your confidence blind you Randy.. I'm sure that The Rock is capable of taking advantage of the situation if your mind is somewhere else. And fortune always shines on the one who is paying attention when the other man is not. 'THA PROSPEKT' Randy Orton: " You're Wrong.. I've heard it all before, time and time again. It's the same old story time and time again.. but there is no take two, three, four or five. There isn't second chances inside that ring for The Rock. This isn't a set of one of his cheap budget movies and this sure isn't The Rocks time to step up and become Champion. The Rock.. a man who couldn't even compete with challengers for that inferior nEw Title. The title that just rewards Superstars who are second best. If he's not even capable of winning a belt like that how on earth does he deserve to even set eyes on The XWF World Title. The Rock among many other faces in the XWF is a plague upon the business and I'll see to it that I flush out that scum and at WrestleMania "the People" will be gifted with a true World Heavyweight Champion in me.. Prospektive: There is nothing but silence on the other end as Randy stands up pulling the curtain aside and stepping out into the light. It's now visible to us that Randy Orton was seated in a confessional booth all along inside of Church. The man he was referring to as Father was a Reverend/Pastor. Randy Orton just told off a messenger of god?! Does the title really mean that much to him, has it consumed his thoughts that much. Does he even sleep at night?! all these questions that will never be answered as an enraged Randy Orton storms out of the church as the cameras follow closely behind. He continues to speak as he steps outside and Sable can be seen awaiting beside a limo at the bottom of the steps that lead to the church entrance.
'THA PROSPEKT' Randy Orton: " So Rock you want to take a gamble at Gravity and take a shot at becoming World Champion for the very first time? Well take it from a guy who has been in your situation before.. gold is on the line, you might get a little disorientated and you may not be thinking straight. But what you did two weeks ago in my match against Rob Van Dam was the lowest of low.. something that when you think of the word CHAMPION.. using tactics like cheating and interfering in matches that don't concern you, well it just doesn't come to mind Rock. You are the exact opposite of me.. I was born to be a Champion, and you were born to come in second Rock, to make guys like me look even better than I already do. Rock, you and everyone else are looking at me.. looking at Randy Orton like he doesn't have what it takes to win the big one all over again.. but Rocky you have got to realize that you and your "people" who are against the thought of me going to WrestleMania as Champion, well it only pushes me to make that even more of a reality. Even god himself can't stop me now Rock, this title is staying with me for a very very long time.. "
Randy slams the door shut on his limo as the cameras can only sit and focus on the tinted window before the limo drives off and we are all left even more lost and confused than we were at the conclusion of Redemption last week. Randy Orton has made it perfectly clear that the XWF World Title is pretty much his religion and The Rock.. well he just may be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
