"Slice Where You Live Like Pie" - Don Caballero

Intro (Dull tone, mostly clean, and a little crunch):

This is tough, but it's mostly just random tapping on a 
fixed set of notes on two frets. Basically, place your 
picking hand over the 12th fret, and your fretting hand 
over the 7th fret. Your picking hand should tap the E, G, 
A and both D strings on the 12th, while your fretting hand
should tap the B and D strings on the 7th fret.

Apparently, Ian and Mike were playing the same basic thing, 
but with each guitar panned to either side of the stereo field. 
On the LP, you're hearing a jump to each guitar (left and 
right) every second or so, that's why it sounds so crazy. 
If you listen to a live recording of the song with just 
Ian playing it, it sounds a lot clearer.

At 00:35 it's played at a faster speed, and then from 00:54
on it slows down, then hit a loud distorted open D power 
chord at 01:05 and 01:10.

These 2 parts are separated between the left and right
channels - so with a bit of messing with your balance
control you can hear each guitar pretty clearly. 
The important thing here is that when you hit those
high D and A notes, make sure the bent note almost hits the 
same pitch as the non-bent note, and then bring the bent
note down to its normal pitch. 
In fact, a pre-bend sounds really good here, if you can
get the pressure just right.

The timing here is also kinda tough - Im not even going
to start tabbing that.

Right...the next bit is pretty chaotic and not really
worth tabbing verbatim. Basically if you slide and play 
between any combination of the following positions, you 
can get a decent sound. Hit a couple of open lower D's
too to fill it out. This is the part where all 4 
instruments basically have a free-for-all :)
