website has been established to help promote and publicise the activities of
the Brighton, Hove & District Trades Council.
The intention has always been to make the site as simple and clear as possible
so that people with even the most limited knowledge of the subject of trade
unions or trades council's, can find the information that they are looking for
quickly and easily. We hope that you find the information provided useful and
would be grateful if you could contact the website operator, James Smith (contact
details below) if you have any suggestions or if there are any inaccuracies
that we should be aware of.
The content of the website must always be to the approval of the Executive Committee of the Brighton, Hove & District Trades Council.
Design
The intention is for the website to be deliberately simple to navigate, so that visitors with the most basic IT skills are able to find the information that they need in the simplest way possible. There are few pictures or moving images so that the website can be viewed on PC's of the most basic specifications, therefore allowing the site to reach the widest possible audience.
