A clear –eyed view of wealth and poverty

 

 

“They are poor because the rich controls the system”

 

“They are poor because the rich oppress them”

 

A ruler who oppresses the poor is like a driving rain that leaves no corps…Proverbs 28:3

 

He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God!!    Proverbs 14:31

 

 

 

 

“Anybody can become wise”

 

Proverbs says

              “Wisdom is not reserved for a brainy elite. But becoming wise requires self discipline to   

                study and seek wisdom at every opportunity”

 

“Wisdom is freely available to those who will stop talking and start paying attention—to god and his word, to parents, to wise counselors”

 

The fear of the lord is the beginning of Wisdom, and Knowledge of the Holy one is understanding…Proverbs 9:10

 

The fear of the lord teaches a man wisdom and humility comes before honor..Proverbs 15:33

 

For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding…Proverbs 2:6

 

For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul…Proverbs 2:10

 

A man’s wisdom gives him patience; it is to his glory to overlook an offense…Proverbs 19:11
