For David:
It seems so many years that I have known you. Our first meeting was
on Prodigy: Pen Pals Wanted, Male or Female. I remember the questions
you and Bridget and others put forth. I still can't believe I
answered those ridiculous questions :-) But it proved to be worth
while. I got to meet you and many others. And I found out what an
artist you were! W, at least a 'puter artistry. The e-mail we
exchanged, the snail mail and particularly the phone calls were
exciting. I remember the first phone call I received from you, you
weren't sure about a rebel and I wasn't sure what to expect from a
damn yankee:-)
But we connected from the start. You loved life, loved Cheryl and
positively adored Courtney. After the hellos the first news I got was
of the family. It was so refreshing to hear you talk of how much they
meant to you. Now-a-days family doesn't seem that important, but to
you family was.
From Prodigy we moved on to MNET. At least we still got to keep in
touch when MNET deemed to let me log on. It liked me as much as I
liked it.
And then it finally happened, I got to meet you in person. You were
in Florida and we met up at Bridget's vacation get-a-way. Not only
you, I had the honor of meeting your mom(Dru), a very sweet lady, your
sister Nora and her daughter Liana. We had just a few short days to
get to know one another but it was great. Remember the birthday cake
we got to share? The days were short but filled with fun. Then you
and Nora flew home while Dru and Liana continued their car trip. I
did have the pleasure of having Dru at my home twice. Once after our
visit and another a year or so later. I do regret missing your second
trip to Florida, We were both on vacation and I was out of the
country at the time. I wish I would have been here.
I already miss our e-mails, snail mails and phone calls.
Just know that you are sorely missed and thought of daily. You will
live on in my memory forever.

Robert,
OK! You nut! I'll never dare you again, unless I want that check for $1000.00! But it can't bounce!
The lady that answered the phone thought you were a "very nice young man to call, all the way from Flordia." She doesn't know that you are so OLD!! heehee! My boss, when I hung up said, "On the phone AGAIN! Don't you have papers to shred, file or stamp?" Then she laughed and said, " Why do people always hang up when I walk into the room?" She is a nice lady! Too bad she no longer is my boss, she quit and is going back to NYC were she came from. well, When you see Ms. B, give her a message.� "Get your butt home! We miss you!"

**Never, did I say, not once, not even a twinkle, that I
could write poetry. Now you see why!**
Hope you are enjoying the rain that I sent your way. The
cold temperatures was thrown in by Mother Nature FOR FREE!
And your little frost on your cars, does NOT constitute as
ice. Gee Robert, Maybe you would like some of the 3 feet+
snow so that you may know what REAL snow looks like?? HMMM!?
Tomorrow's high here in North country, will be......0. Yes,
ZERO! And that's the high, the lows...about -5 to -10.
Sounds like picnic weather to me!

About the cold old man, whats a matter, 43 too low fer ya?
Hope it rains tonight, freezes, then you will have to use your
ice remover to get into your car. Like I have to do almost
every night. Don't feel bad Robert, todays high is ZERO!

And seeings how you are picking on me, I hope your dinner burns!

Subject: WARM!!!
Oh Robert,
Its so warm today!!! Its going up in the 20's!!!!
I will be laying on the sandy beaches at the local
swim hole this afternoon, so you won't be seeing me
here today! The only prob is that we are going to get
another 6 inches of snow today with the 3+feet of
snow already on the ground. So it will be hard
making sandcastles, but snow castles are just as fun!
OOPS, I forgot to get my bathing suit on, must run...

Subject: been away.
That's one reason not to be gone as long as you
were. Our family is growing everyday. Now if I
only can remember how many brothers, sisters, fathers,
Aunts, and Uncles I have...oh, and cousins too!
Nora is a meany Robert, didn't you know that? :)
She used to pull my hair, dragging my UP the stairs.
Now I know why I am getting bald up on top.
