Cecilia Nol
and the Wild Clams
This is a great group that I found
out about at
mp3.com. They are a latin/salsa/funk/hip hop type group (I guess, I'm not an expert at "classifying" music as a certain style)
but their music is called Salsoul. I call it great.
My favorite song by far is Pronto Salsa but there are a bunch that I really like (and can't stop listening to). There
are more songs available from their page at
mp3.com or the
bands web page. They are in the L.A. area also so if you can you should go check them out and tell me how they are live (I have a feeling they are great!!!).

JazzReview.com
This is a good site with lots of
jazz information (and reviews of course) including a
recent
interview of Brian.

Debian is the distribution of

Bluefish
Bluefish is the HTML editor that I
have used to create this site. It's free and I like
it even though it is still in very early stages of
development. It has many similarities to Homesite
which is what I used to use when I was still running
Windows95.
- HTML Tidy
This utility from the World Wide Web Consortium (the ones that say how HTML should be done and make the standards for HTML usage and the web in general) checks your html files for errors, fixes many of the common mistakes and also will indent all of your html tags so that the file looks really pretty (which makes finding errors easier).

Funschool.com
My daughter likes this site, it
has a bunch of fun and simple educational games for
kids.

Netaddress
Netaddress is a free web-based e-mail service that I
use frequently, including the address that I use for
all e-mail at this
web site. There are others like Hotmail but I like
Netaddress better, just personal preference.
