Howdy.

Lately I've been having some really abnormal sleeping patterns.  Some days I'll go to bed at 3am and wake up at 5pm, and other days I won't sleep at all.  Today I got out and went to Parramatta Heritage Centre in hope to see some art.  Turns out the "exhibition" was one displaying artefacts from Parramatta's history.  As interesting as it was, it wasn't what I was after (I have to go out and see at least one art exhibition and research the artist for school).  After hours of learning about Parramatta's past I went for a walk to the main shopping complex "Westfields."

On the way I passed a lone busker playing a familiar tune.  He was very good and long after I had crossed paths with him I identified the melody - it had been "Let it be" from The Beatles.  I told myself that whatever change I had from the $10 my mum gave me I would give to him on my way back.  I didn't spend anything so I gave him the note - he was very happy.  The poor man had been playing all day it seemed in the hot sun, without much success, financially anyway.

When I was at Westfields I decided to go to the book store and I found the COOLEST book!!!  It was $35 so my $10 was useless.  It was Kurt Cobain's diary!!!  I think he's a legend and I had read a few things that he'd written before on the internet (including his suicide note) and I think he has the most interesting mind.  I love the way he writes and I would love to have that book!!!  Every page was a reprint of his original writings some were on hotel papers, but most on ordinary note book paper.  It had all the lyrics (ones that might have been) and little pictures he drew here and there.  At the beginning it had a funny little quote from him that I want to use on this web page.  I can't remember it off hand so if I can't find it on the net then I'll just have to go back and look again.  If I do I think I'll get fanatical about the bloody thing and start calling it "my precious."

I WANT THAT BOOK!!!

Yours,
Bre
