

Peanut Butter Oaties

1 c sugar 1 c dark brown sugar 1 c peanut butter 1 c margarine or butter 2 large eggs 2 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 tsp baking soda 1 1/4 c all purpose flour 2 c quick cooking oat meal (uncooked)

Cream together the two sugars, peanut butter and margarine. Add eggs and vanilla, beating well. Stir in dry ingredients that have been combined. Cover and refrigerate dough until chilled. Shape into 1 " balls. Place 2" apart on backing sheets flatten slightly by making criss-cross design with a fork dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 about 12 min. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
