Nachos Supreme



6(7") Flour Tortillas
2 c Shredded Mexican Style Cheese
8 oz Lean Ground Beef
1/2 c Salsa
2 c Lettuce (shredded)
1 Tomato (chopped)
3 Green Onions (thinly sliced)
1/2 c Pitted Ripe (Black) Olives(sliced)
Optional: Sour Cream & Guacamole



Preheat oven to 400.
Using a pizza cutter, cut each tortilla into 6 wedges.
Starting at outside edgeof 15" round
baking stone, arrange tortilla wedges in a circle.
With sides overlapping and points toward center.
Repeat with remaining tortilla wedges.
To form additional overlapping rows of chips.
Bake 8-10 min or until chips are lightly browned and crisp.
Remove from oven.

Meanwhile in a 10" frying pan, cook gound beef
over medium heat until beef is no longer pink; drain.
Stir in salsa.
Slice lettuce into thin strands.
Chop tomato.
Slice onions and olives.
Sprinkle with 1 cup of cheese evenly over hot tortilla chips.
Top evenly with beef mixture
lettuce, tomato, onions, olives and remaining cheese.
Serve with sour cream, guacamole, and salsa if desired.
