PRESIDENT'S REPORT
DOT NEAL
The rummage sale was very successful this year. Special thanks go to three members; Tillie, Judy and Gloria, who were with the project from start to finish. They will receive my red, white and blue star for their very hard work. Thanks to all our members for their donations and hard work, and most of all, everyone who purchased the merchandise. Without their help, it would not have been a success. Thank you, Lana, for coming out early so that we could start on time. We made a good profit for our local and national projects; namely VA Hospital, President's Project, Girls State and many, many more. We cannot forget John and Joe Neal, Ed D'Leo, and Tom Hundley, who gave us much needed help. We had plenty left over merchandise, but it was put to good use. Part was brought to a Homeless Shelter, part to Paralyzed Veterans, part to a needys church in Mexico and the rest to Ozaman Inn. Many thanks to all the ladies who brought delicious dishes for our Thanksgiving Social. Many of our shipmates came up to me bragging about the food. They think it gets better every month. Plan to be around for our Christmas Social. We hope it will be even better.
