BCW May Two-For 2001 Results 5/19/01 & 5/20/01

BCW kicked off the 2001 season with a spectacular two days of action. New champions all around, and three new superstars debuted at the May Two-For 2001.
Day 1
World Olympic Curling Champion Graham Johnston vs. Mama's Boy
-Graham Johnston defeated Mama's Boy via roll-up pin, after Mama's Boy was distracted by a man wearing a crossing guard vest.
BCW HARDCORE TITLE MATCH
Little Mexican Dude vs. Dr. Hardcore (Champion)
-Dr. Hardcore vs. Little Mexican Dude was ruled a 'no contest' due to outside interference by Scottie O'Brien.
Little Poppa Pump vs. Lost Mexicano #3
-Lost Mexicano #3 defeated Little Poppa Pump via backslide pin, after Little Poppa Pump's attention was on the man with the crossing guard vest.
Lost Mexicanos vs. El Sancho Del Grande Puchteca Squadron
-Lost Mexicanos were beat down by the newcommers, Koroshira before the match could take place. El Sancho Del Grande Puchteca Squadron (no show) were awarded the match.
BCW COMMONWEALTH TITLE MATCH
Dr. Shun vs. Scottie O'Brien (Champion)
-Scottie O'Brien retained his title against Dr. Shun after outside interference by Little Mexican Dude and Dr. Hardcore.
*immediately following, a four way ladder match for the BCW Commonwealth & BCW Hardcore title was signed. Dr. Shun vs. Little Mexican Dude vs. Dr. Hardcore vs. Scottie O'Brien
*Earlier in the day, Stalemate attacked Rain with a sledgehammer. Rain suffered a severe injury to his leg and was rushed to the hospital.
BCW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
The Sandbox Kid vs. Rain (Champion)
Rain managed to return in time to defend his title, while wearing an air cast on his injured leg. After a grueling exchange of submission holds and blows, the Sandbox Kid managed to pin Rain, while in a figure-four leg lock, to become the new BCW Heavyweight Champion.
Day 2
Mama's Boy vs. Graham Johnston
-Mama's Boy defeated Graham Johnston after outside assistance by The Crossing Guard Supreme.
Lost Mexicanos vs. El Sancho Del Grande Puchteca Squadron
-Lost Mexicanos defeated El Sancho Del Grande Puchteca Squadron
BCW HEAVYEWIEGHT TITLE 'NO DQ' MATCH
Stalemate vs. Sandbox Kid (Champion)
Special Outside Enforcer: Rain
Sandbox Kid immediately went for the legs of Stalemate to bring him down to his own size. After some help(?) from Rain, Sandbox Kid retained the BCW Title after he pinned Stalemate.
FOUR WAY LADDER MATCH
BCW COMMONWEALTH TITLE & BCW HARDCORE TITLE
Dr. Shun vs. Little Mexican Dude vs. Scottie O'Brien vs. Dr. Hardcore
One of the most intense and exciting matches in BCW history, all four competetors went to the edge and back. After delivering a double 'last call' to Dr. Shun and Dr. Hardcore, puting them through a table, Scottie O'Brien managed to climb up and capture the BCW Hardcore Title. Dr. Hardcore had gathered together enough energy to ascend the ladder and win the BCW Commonwealth Title.
BCW was thourougly pleased with the performance by all the superstars that weekend. All are looking forward to the next event, which will be announced in the coming weeks.
