	"Attention! You are now leaving West Berlin!" I took this photo during my first visit to Berlin on August 9, 1971, four days before the 10th anniversary of the Berlin Wall. In the distance one can see the East Berlin TV tower and the Red Courthouse.

	July 8, 1978. This is a view from the TV tower in East Berlin, looking west toward the Tiergarten. The Brandenburg Gate is in the center of the picture, and the Wall is clearly visible running from left to right. East Berlin's Soviet embassy complex can be seen near the Brandenburg Gate on the south side of the street. West Berlin's Kongresshalle and Reichstag are visible over on the right.
