We are at the old North Station lower stop in the 1970's A loop once existed here for the PCC cars to be able to turn before heading back into the Subway. Here two PCC cars prepare to board passengers before heading to the "B" line. The surface stop was closed in the 1990's and the elevated above will be gone in 2004.

The Boeing LRV seen at Riverside -in the late 70's  was introduced in 1976. However these cars were plagued with problems and derailemts, allowing the PCC to continue to serve the Green Line for some time to come.
