| Another set of PCC's arrive at Lechmere in August 1978. These classic cars were the backbone of the Green Line fleet even when the LRV's arrived. Time though won out and all regular PCC service ended in 1984 except for the Mattapan - Ashmont line. Photo Bernard Chatreau. |
