A train of three PCC  rumbles down the Green Line El at North Station in 1972. Somtimes it was hard to tell what belonged to the Green Line and what belonged to the Orange Line.

From the early to mid 1970's  many PCC cars ran the Green Line still wearing the old MTA orange as seen here on the Riverside line. Joe Testagrosse.

In 1972, a train of heavy rail PCC cars rolls through Revere. I remember these cars as being rough and noisy. However they also offered a head end view next to the motorman's cab.  Joe Testagrosse.
