"Had stopped smoking for 3 weeks prior to going on the Wellbutrin at the beginning of July, 99. Was starting to bum cigarettes. When I went on the Wellbutrin, the instructions said that I could continue to smoke as usual at the beginning so I went ahead and smoked my usual pack a day again.

After the panic attack on day 5 that made me stop the Wellbutrin, I continued to smoke, heavier than before due to nervousness. Panic/Anxiety/Dizziness/Light, Heat and Noise sensitive/Sleep disturbances. Started while on the drug...day 5 (at only half the dose). Stopped immediately.

For the first six weeks, I was terrified to walk anywhere but my home, due to extreme ground rolling and feeling that I would fall. That has improved now, but still occurs to a lessor extreme during anxious moments. Stopping caffeine helped (not that I drank a lot, only 2 cups of coffee a day). The rest of the symptoms have not gone away. It has now been three grueling months. Doctor has confirmed that this is almost certainly due to the medication, and wrote this to Glaxco-Welcome. Was also taking synthroid (to suppress a thyroid nodule), vitamins.

As of 10/99 The side effects for me now are mainly panic disorder, anxiety and sleep disturbances"
