"retired military officer and now a disaster relief manager. ,don't know what stress is until recently. Never taken any medication other that antibiotics, when ill, which has been rare. .

I had been a smoker for 42 years and I haven't had a puff since May. reported several side effects to my doc while on regular post-pneumonia visits. Most of these he said were after-effects of other medications I had been taking while ill, and, after all I had been really sick so I shouldn't expect to be well at once. He acknowledged that elevated blood pressure was probably being caused by the Zyban. Some other new symptoms reported at the time (notably frequent urination) were written off as signs that I was growing older. A month before that a full medical confirmed I had no problems at all, except that I smoked! At the end of July I went back to the doc because the anxiety symptoms were getting worse, and I suggested (my own thought then) that perhaps Zyban had a long-lasting withdrawal effect Today, the doc agreed that taken Zyban was now causing concern to me and contributing to my anxious state... so I'm off it"
