| I have visited the "Quiet Man" country twice. Set in Co. Mayo, it also borders Co. Galway which makes some of the finest scenery for anyone to enjoy. It's beautiful, rugged and sometimes very remote still today. It's a landscape photographers paradise when the weather co-operates. Ireland is like Scotland, there are no seasons, just weather. The land is like the movie, timeless. So I'll go back again and...walk in the footsteps of the Duke. |
