"This William Boone was one of 3 or 4 brothers. Samuel & Roger - William and George were prisoners of war in the American Revolution. The wife of Wm Boone, Ruth Hill was in Boston when men disguised as Indians boarded English ships and threw cargoes of tea in the sea. Would not pay duty. I heard my mother tell that her and brothers and sisters had heard their Great Grandmother Ruth Hill relate the above and other stories of that trying time." (Tracy Book)
