I've been doing online surveys for about 5 years with 4 different companies that are legitimate. One pays cash every time, within 14 days ... a check in the mail. One offers cash after I save 1000 survey points. Every 1000 points gets me a $10 check. Or I can turn in the points for gift items such as CD's or DVD's ... cookware, tool kits, magazine subscriptions, etc. ... or I can donate to charities, including Hurricane Katrina relief, or I can buy raffle tickets for nice items. Another one gives me points only to turn in for gift items. The 4th one only gives me a chance to win 1 of 5 $100 cash prizes. Most, if not all, have a sweepstakes or grand prize drawing for each survey completed.
Recently, I've joined others and will be reviewing them and providing their details right here for your convenience. I will be updating this page regularly and stating which are legitimate and which are just marketing scams trying to sell you something or get you stuck in an email spam situation.
Be aware that you are NOT going to get rich quick doing surveys. It takes a lot of your time. Also realize that you are NOT going to qualify for every survey, every time. Some of the survey clients want only married people with children, or only homeowners, or people from a certain age group, or people who live in certain areas of the country. Some want only people from the US, some accept people from US and Canada. A few clients want people from any country. Where this information is available, I will mention it.
Be aware that some survey offers require you to pay to join them ... and you are, therefore, going to pay anywhere from $30 to $80 to get a list of other survey sites to join. I don't think this is fair since any of us can find most of those companies on our own by doing an appropriate search. To this end, I am providing a list of links and descriptions of the survey companies FREE for you to use. I am NOT an affiliate of any company listed and will NOT receive any compensation for providing you the link. Granted, I could get a small referral bonus, usually extra points, by referring you ... but have chosen not to be rewarded. The links I've provided are clean links that take you straight to the companies' sign up pages.
WARNING: Always keep your antivirus, firewall, and anti-spyware software up-to-date, and of course, keep your Windows version up-to-date. If you inadvertantly click on a link that isn't good, you could end up with spam, data miners, keyloggers, or worse.
Additionally, please take the time to read the privacy policy before joining any survey group. Some of the companies I list will want you to agree to receive email from their partners as a condition of participation. Some have an opt out and others don't. You need to read the fine print and make an informed decision. |
