WHO IS BOB SHORTS?

Bob Shorts' History begins back in August 1958, when he was born in London, England . He was a very bright boy, and learned very early on to question politics, religion , and other aspects of life. This interest grew and grew until he majored in Political Science at Oxford. Although he genius brought about many spectators, he was expelled from Oxford for the selling of drugs (i.e. marijuana, dope, pixie stix, heroine , fake steroids, etc.). He then moved to America and continued his education at Yale where he became apart of the Cross Bones.

Shorts applied to Yale to continue his studies. Both the staff and the students accepted him. Shorts quickly rose to the top of his class in both academics and popularity. Because of his obvious potential Shorts was tapped by the Cross Bones secret society in his junior year. Shorts graduated from Yale with a degree in political science and was in the top ten of his class.

After graduating from Yale, Shorts decided to become a traveling scholar. He chose to be a traveling scholar so he could study first hand, different forms of governments, scrutinizing them for effectiveness, efficiency, and to see what the "best" government was. Shorts enjoyed the lifestyle of a traveling scholar because it afforded him with the ability to voice his opinions to the people at his conventions. The only problem when voicing his opinion to the people was that nobody took him seriously. His theories were so outrageous that when the average person talked to him about politics, they thought he was making a joke.

Despite his constant disappointment of the people, Shorts continued to Travel the globe studying the different types of governments. Shorts spent 12 years Traveling till one day he realized that he had studied many different governments and had come up with meaningless theories about those governments but he decided that he needed to come up with his own form of government. Shorts wanted to settle down so he could create his own form of government.

Shorts bought a house in Babylon; he wanted to be in the "Cradle of Life". Shorts quickly found out that his beliefs were not accepted by the people in Babylon. This out casting caused him to become a recluse, drowning himself in loneliness and beer. Shorts would spend months at a time in his house writing a book. He spent a total of 5 years writing his book on the government he had created.

After he finished his book, he decided that he needed to move on from Babylon. So, he moved to Boston to start a new life. The book: Political Theory: Are There Really Politics? brought up controversy in both the US and England which he was shunned by most people, once again for his outrageous political theories. So yet again, Shorts became a recluse, spending all his time in his house drinking beer and writing his second book: America (The Book).

One day Shorts decided that he was going   to release this book to the public. He went out looking for publishers and sure enough, he found one that would print his book. The first year the sales for his book were rather low, but the following year a New York Times journalist discovered his book. Shorts? book was put on the top ten best books and stayed there for six months. Everybody that read his book was amazed. Shorts was interviewed by many magazine companies including Entertainment Weekly for his book.

The reason Shorts' book did such a better job at explaining to people his logic was the fact that the book was so detailed. Only a book as long as the one that he had written could explain his logic. This allowed people to know what Shorts was talking about and he quickly became a world-renowned thinker.

Shorts realized though that he needed to build on his success but he wanted to do it in a lighter atmosphere than a lonely house. Therefore, his solution was to call Jon Stewart, the host of the news broadcast: ?The Daily Show? on Comedy Central, and ask him for a consultant job. Jon thought that instead of being an off camera consultant he should be an on camera consultant. Shorts loved the idea and decided to take the job.

Now Shorts is regular on the Jon Stewart. Shorts loves it because it affords him an interesting outlet for voicing his ideas and the people love it because his theories still sound funny. Shorts has gone from stellar student, to a scholar, to a recluse, to a political theorist and finally to a comedian. His life is an example a man?s life where interesting ideas brought him through an interesting and a unique life.
