Amy McClung Squires' Christmas letter, 2003
Bob: Our family party was at my house again this year. With the exception of a few nephews and nieces missing, (Marta's two, Don's Jason & wife, Chris's Owen) everyone was able to come. Joe's Sandy had to work so she couldn't make it. We really missed her. She's so much a part of our family. It was a nice time with a big meal that Brian and Janice helped prepare. We had a good time. The weather was good and the kids could play outside.
Oh yeah, Joe's Tim and his family were absent as well. Of course Leroy wasn't here but he never is. We had fun with him this summer though. Wish we could see him more. We went to Midnight mass. I was a lector and the boys both served. We aren't accustomed to those late hours and that really did a number on me. I don't think we'll do that again. We usually go to 5:00 on Christmas Eve. It's a very crowded service, but if you get there early enough (about 45 min.) you can get a seat and it's fine. Mom went to Arkansas to be with Don, Joe, and Terry. Chris had all his family in and she didn't see him.
Well Bob, I enjoy your emails. I hope you have a great 2004. Tell all your clan hello!
Amy Squires
