6: After a few days in an incubator, a premature baby, Philip Edward Gray was born at Youens' hospital in Weimar Texas to Ceil and Bob Gray. Frances and Edwin Haidusek were his godparents, when he was baptised at St Michael's Church by Msgr, Anthony F. Drozd.
When he couldn't hold his head up, Philip was diagnosed with hydrocephalus.

The Bob Gray Family went to East Saint Louis for vacation.
21: Darlene Anne (Gray) married Vernal "Chink" Roush at the Old Saint Louis Cathedral, in Saint Louis, Missouri, on the banks of the Mississippi River. Vincent and Margaret Eisele babysat for Philip during the ceremony. The reception was in East Saint Louis, at a restaurant on State Street.
Mr. Sandman by the Chordettes was a popular song.

Vince Gray started first grade, Bobby 5th, Cecilia 7th. The Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Divine Providence eaught at Saint Michawl's School. They taught the children about The Association of The Holy Childhood of Jesus/Association de la Sainte Enfance, which began in 1863

Pius IX was Pope from 1846-78.
Grandma and Grandpa Nieman visited the Grays in Weimar, Tx.
24: Henry and Edna Hudec, with their children, Annette, Carolyn, Henry Jr. and Thomas, came to the Gray home to celebrate Christmas Eve. Pictures were taken of the whole gang.
25: Philip Gray's 1st Christmas. The Gray Family got a Zenith TV for a Christmas present.
