"Blame"
by: Jason C. Newton

The world surrounds me in a memory
All I hold inside violates me

I can't tear it down
I only build it up.
The pain of a clown
Dirty water pours from my cup.

All the hope I hold slowly rapes me
The past clings on
And slowly kills me.

My security is my instability.
My strength is my vulnerability.

I'm the only one to blame.
I'm the only one to shame.
