I must be a little bit crazy
To believe things could make sense
And everything seems a bit hazy
As I light up my incense
Smoking while I lie in bed
I listen to the world and all its pleas
Trying to clear the thoughts within my head
I can't help but hate times like these
Everyone's hurt and everyone cries
And being strong is hard to do
Ask "what's wrong" just to get a lie
No longer trust the words "I love you."
The silence ravages my mind
So I turn the radio on . . .
And guess what I find . . .
Another meaningless love song.
