Editor's Take
My first contact with the works of the Young Dubliners came on 8/12/00 when they opened for Jethro Tull at the Erie County Fair in Hamburg, NY. It reinforced the reason I try to always get to the show early enough to catch the opening act.
The band has put out 4 albums and I predict their most recent effort - "Red" - will be their breakthrough work. The organ and wind instruments included in their version of rock'n'roll give an unmistakenly Irish flavor. Mark Epting told me that plans are in the works for the band to headline their own tour soon. I strongly encourage getting out to see them and get your tickets early.
