Editor's Take

My addiction to Rock and Roll/Blues/Folk is thankfully genetic. My uncle and fellow concert crusader has allowed me to know and experience the work of many legendary musicians. My passion for music was confirmed by the age of 10 when my mother bought a 45rpm player at a rummage sale and gave it to me so I could play our family's collection of music. Many of the hours spent listening to the music were of "Nights in White Satin" - always needing just a little more volume.

My first live performance came on 2/10/00 at The Landmark Theatre in
Syracuse, NY. The Landmark is a Historic Site and seats about 2,800. There was no loss of energy or talent in their show. Along with their masterful performance of classics, the blend of new material made one hell of a show. The sound and seating in the Landmark enhanced the experience and honor of watching one of the greatest bands of all time.
