The Super Bowl: After
4 months of battling, you know where your picking prognosticators
are? A combined $$18 ahead. And Loc is even down $$1. What
a sad sac of pickers we have here. But, with the grandest
event of them all, our boys have a shot to do the improbable.
That's right, all bets are on, $$20 max with double downs
on all. And you can bet your entire bankroll! Do we got action?
Oh, hell yeah.
By the way, Kentoz has decided to go secret ballot. His picks
are sealed in an envelop and will be looked at as the game
progresses. How crazy! OK, good luck to all.
Results: Sometimes, players claim to be in a zone,
channeling external and internal forces to meld into superior
beings. For Kentoz, the Super Bowl was one of those occassions.
Picking 7 out of 8 winners, Kentoz trounced the others by
going up $$140. He didn't even bet the national anthem or
the half-time show, but he mentioned his picks and those were
probably gonna be right as well.
Loc and Paulie, futility. Sure, a season ending week
of 6-4 is nice, being up exactly $$44 each is better than
being down. But that's 4 months of their lives of picking
.500, almost to a tee.
So congrats go out to Kentoz. I guess he saved the
best for last. His trophy ceremony will be up soon enough,
