These are a few of my favourite memories:

• Finger painting with Miss Milner in kindergarten
• The Orf (sp?) music teacher
• Always wanting to be as good a speller as Janet Maxwell (Miss Kincaid's Grade one class)
• Swinging from the giant weeping willow tree at recess
• Learning to skip "double Dutch"
• Playing "yogi" and "squish"
• Field Day and the potato sack races
• Learning our "times tables" in Miss Sinclair's grade three class . . . and eating lots of Scottish rock candy
• Choosing to play the cello only to switch to the violin after struggling to carry my cello up Pinedale Road
• The thrill of watching the '72 hockey series in Mr. Molden's Grade six classroom
• Singing carols at the Christmas concerts
