I remember:
- teachers ringing hand-held bells in the school yard
- the skating rinks that were always bumpy
- the seemingly endless stair climb to the second floor for gym class
- Blythwood's 50th anniversary (I think I won a poetry contest for a poem called The Memories of Blythwood)
- the "experimental" grade 4 class (Mr. Knight) with 16 students to see if class size affected outcome (I think someone may want to take a look at that study these days!)
- Mrs. Zammit and sleep time in kindergarten
- Field Day
- I think it was Mr. Humanick (sp?) with the sports car -- He taught me grade 3 (see Gord Whitaker's message)
- going home for lunch (what a luxury!)
Just a few for the books.
