Bluehook's Diary

I started doing this diary in June. If you haven't been following have a look at the Cast of Characters which gives a quick low down on the essential day to day characters who are mentioned here...it will make more sense if you do.


I like Tuesday mornings, Irene and Lorna go out dancing so when I get up the house is nice and quiet and I can get my head together in peace, feed the horses, take the rubbish down to the road and sort out what needs to be sorted out. I was waiting for Mavis from the NFU to call me back with a quote for car insurance but I waited as long as I could and then went off to town with my laundry and my shopping list.
Back home the kids were just getting back from school but the recalcitrant parents were nowhere to be seen. They did turn up eventually just as I was going through to cook dinner. Charlotte and her three very little daughters arrived just as we were serving up and stayed the evening. Clare arrived a bit later to do some washing and have a bath. We played a game of trivial pursuit which took all night long.
