Shopping Trip
"Hey are you okay....Rachel?..Are you in there?!" asked Lucy. She jumped as you snapped out of your day-dream. "Er yeah..im fine.." Rachel replied slowly. She looked back out of the cafe window and sighed heavily. "Ok..whats up with you? You're acting weird!" Lucy said. "Nothing is up..Im fine. Its just..." "Just what?" Lucy asked again. "Its just Im so bored with men. All the ones that I hook up with all seem to be idiots only after one thing!" Lucy hugged you, "Aaaww dont worry about it darlin. You'll find the right lad soon enough. I've found my perfect lad-" she stopped realising that what she was about to say wouldn't make the situation any better. Rachel smiled. "I've got an idea that'll cheer you up.." Lucy said with a sparkle in her eye. "What?" Rachel asked. "Shopping!" she squealed. Rachel giggled and nodded her head.
"What about this one? This is nice isn't it?" Lucy asked Rachel. "Oh yeah..well nice. Shame about the colour, the style-the whole outfit!" she replied sarcastically. They both giggled. "Oooh..lets go in Gucci..please?!" she pleaded. "Alright.." Lucy replied knowing that Rachelhad a serious addiction for Gucci clothes. "Ooh..thats nice...and that..." Rachel repeated again and again as they walked through the shop. Lucy found something she liked and as Rachel waited outside the changing rooms for her 2 lads walked in the door. She glanced at them and noticed something familiar about them. It was then that Rachel realised who they were-Lee and Dunc from Blue! "Lucy...get out of there now! Look who's just walked in the shop!" she whispered into the room excitedly. "What..who is it?" a rushed Lucy replied. "Its Lee and Dunc from Blue!" The curtain shot back "Who?!" she gasped. Rachel giggled and pointed-"Look!" Rachel and Lucy discreetly watched the lads shop for a while. "They're coming over.." Lucy whispered turning round. As they both 'pretended' to shop Rachel felt a tap on her shoulder. "Erm..hi! Im Lee and my mate Dunc wanted to know if you were single?!" he said pointing over his shoulder. She looked over and there was Dunc kind of hiding behind a wall of clothes. She giggled and walked over to him. Lee and Lucy were left alone. "Hi! Im Rachel! Lee said you wanted to know if I was single...Is that right?" she said introducing herself. "Er yeah. Cos your really pretty and I wanted to ask you out but if you're seeing someone then I suppose we can just forget about it-" Rachel stopped him before he got carried away. "Slow down! No Im not seeing anyone. And itd be cool for us to go out..and thaks for the 'me being pretty' thing.." she said her face lightly flushed. Did I just say that? she thought to herself. "Oh..great. Yeah itd be cool!" Dunc replied smiling. "So..what about tonight? Say about 8-I'll pick you up!" "Yeah..thatd be great..but you dont know where I live!" she told him. "Oh yeah...duh!" he said laughing. Rachel began to fumble about in her bag and she pulled out a small notebook and a pen. "Here you go.." she said passing Dunc the note with her address scribbled on. A huge smile spread across Dunc's face. "Cool..so cya later then..?" he said. "Hmm..!" Rachel replied smiling. He leaned in and kissed her gently on the cheek. Her face flushed. "C'mon Lee..we gotta get going!" he called to Lee who was stood chatting to Lucy. They both walked up and Rachel and Lucy said bye to the lads. Rachel explained to Lucy what had happened. "Aaaaww..Dunc sounds so cute!" Lucy said excitedly. "Yeah..he is. So..what did you do with Lee while me and Dunc were..chatting?!" Rachel asked her. "Oh..nothing much. Just talked about things.." Lucy mumbled in response looking at the floor. "Oh come on! You did more than that..Lee had a smile that was almost as big as Dunc's! What happened?!" she said raising her eyebrows. "Nothing..we just sorta..erm arranged to go out aswell..." she replied quietly. "Really?! Wow..thats cool!" she told her...
Later on back at their flat both Rachel and Lucy were busy getting ready. "Ooohh.. its nearly 8!" Rachel said anxiously as she slipped on her boots. "He will be-" she was cut off as there was a knock on the door. "Hi.." she said smiling as she opened the door. "Hi..this is for you!" Dunc replied passing her a single red rose. "Aaaw..sweet. Mmmm..smells lovely!" Rachel said. As she turned around to pick her handbag up Lucy whispered 'good luck' to her and winked. "Lets go.." Rachel said shutting the door behind her.
Both of their dates were amazing and Rachel and Lucy are still seeing Dunc and Lee....
