Come Back To Me
OK-here's the deal. You co-own 2 clubs. One with and the other with . can deal with the club on his own but you stick around cos its a good job and a fab club. On the other hand is alright with the organising of bands and everything but any management skills-he is seriously lacking-so that's where you come in! You live in the flat above yours and 's club with . You had once been an item but it ended cos of his Blue priorities. Now he's just a good mate but nothing else...or so you thought.
"Give us a lift will ya?!" you yelled as you struggled with a crate of beer. "Ooh yeah! Sos!" said jumping up off his seat. "Tah!" you said as you both placed the crate on the floor. He smiled. "No probs-why dont you let me do this? After all I do co-own this place with ya!" You both laughed and then you nodded in agreement. "Alright then-Im off round to the other club anyways..betta see how is doing!" you told as you walked out the back door heading for your car. "K!" he replied as he finished unloading the crates.
"?! You here?" you called as you opened the door to the club. No answer. 'Must be upstairs..' you thought to yourself. You climbed the stairs to the flat above. "-" you said but stopped straight away as soon as you opened the door. You had found -he had his arms wrapped round and they were kissing. You absolutely hated . couldn't understand why so you got along with her for his sake. "Oh-...hey!" he said pulling away from . "Hey.." you said frowning. "Weren't you supposed to be bringing in all the decorations for tonights theme night?!" you said. "Or did something distract you..?" you glared at . "He is allowed a life isn't he? Y'kno away from the club!?" she said spitefully. "Hey lighten up girls! Look I'll sort the decorations out ok?" said. "OK.." you replied. He turned to and whispered something in her ear-she laughed, kissed him on the cheek and walked out of the flat. "Whats the matter with you?!" he said. "Her-she's always got that look. The 'Im-better-than-you' look.." you said trailing off realising how stupid that sounded. "Just leave it with her will you?!" he yelled. He pushed past you and ran down the stairs to go and sort the decorations-like he said he would. You slumped down on the sofa. 'Great-my best mate has fell out with me and its all cos of that bitch.' you thought. 'He seems to like her-maybe I should just leave him to it. What can I do to tell him that Im sorry..?' Suddenly an idea sprung in to your head. 'It'd have to wait till tomorrow though...' your thoughts trailed off.
"Guess who?" you giggled as you covered 's eyes with your hands. "Hmm..could it be ?!" he giggled back. You sat infront of him and started helping him sort out the decorations. "Sorry about before..I was being a bitch I know" you told him. "Yeah-you were!" he said smiling. "Hey!" you gasped throwing a party popper at him. You both laughed. "I have an idea. Monday nights are normally really quiet yeah? So why not close the club for the night and I'll leave you alone with ? You can have the flat all night aswell.""Really ?" he asked. "But where will you go? It is your flat aswell y'know!" "Yeah-sure why not. Call it my apology! And dont worry about me-I'll sleep at 's he'll be cool with it!" you replied. "Great-I'll call her now and tell her-thanx !" he said as he jumped up, kissed you on the forehead and disappeared behind the bar. You smiled-you knew your plan would work.
2 weeks later...
"...who the hell gave you the right to be here?!" you screamed. " actually-he's asked me to move in with him!" screamed back. "What?!" you gasped. You were absoultely fuming. You had just come home to find stood at your door. When you had opened the door she had pushed past you and placed herself firmly on the sofa... Suddenly the door flung open-it was . "What the fuck is going on here? I could hear you yelling from downstairs!" he said. "Its her" you cried glaring at . "Why what has she done now?!" he asked. "For once I guess it isn't her fault-its yours! When were you gonna tell me thats she's moving in?! Tomorrow? Next week..Or were you just gonna leave it like this?" you shouted angrily. "Look . That's why Im here. I asked to meet me here. I knew that you'd be home-I wanted to talk about it." he tried to explain. "Lets talk then! C'mon-you wanna let her move in with us and you've already talken to her about it before me!" you cried. "I know. Im sorry. Maybe we should leave it?" said as he walked over to comfort you. "Oh great! Thanx ! Thought you wanted to be with me!" yelled. "I do.." he hesitated. "Well its obvious that she doesn't want you to! You have to choose . Who is more important to you? Me or... her!?" she said. looked at you and then at . Then the words-"Of course its you ." You broke away from his grip and stormed into your room. " wait!" he yelled after you. "No ! You've chosen! And thats fine with me!" you cried back trying to cover how upset you were. As you stuffed clothes into your small suitcase a tear rolled down your cheek. You wiped it away quickly. tried talking to you again but you grabbed your coat and your case and pushed past him. You saw stood in the living room-she was smiling. "Got what you want?!" you shouted as you opened the door and stormed down the stairs.
You slammed the door of your car shut. Another tear, and then another. Pretty soon you were crying properly. You spotted someone next to your window-it was . "Piss off !" you said firmly before starting up the car and driving off. As you drove your thoughts ran through your head. You felt angry hurt-he had been your mate before that stupid cow had even been on the scene and now he had chosen her over you. Why were you so mad? After all he was just a mate. Wasn't he? It was then that it hit you. 'Do I love ?' you asked yourself shocked. No. You couldn't.. could you? You carried on driving until you found yourself at the other club. "Jesus-Are you ok?!" asked concerned as you pushed opened the door and slumped onto the nearest chair. Your face was red and your eyes were all watery from crying. put his arm around you and comforted you. "C'mon tell me whats up.." he said softly. You did...
"..and now that stupid cow has got what she wants-my boyf-" you stopped quickly. looked puzzled. He didnt say anything though. "I mean my best mate! And I've been kicked out of my home!" you cried. looked at you as if to say 'Aren't I your best mate!?' You smiled and hugged him. "Well you know you can stay with me as long as you want dont you?" he said returning the hug. You nodded, "Thanx hun." A little while later you were in 's flat. He had given you his spare room and you were sorting out all your things. "Here you go!" announced as he walked in with a cup of tea. You smiled. "Mmm..tah!" you said as you sipped the drink. "Oh no.." you sighed. "What? What is it?" he asked. "Its the club. Tonight is that 70's disco theme night..but I cant possibly go there-not now anyway. What am I gonna do? cant handle that on his own!" you explained. thought about it for a while. "Well..he's gonna have to. If you go it'll probably only end up in an argument-especially if that cow is there! Why dont you give a ring? He could help out if you dont wanna go." said. "Hmm..yeah I will. Pass me my mobile will ya?" you replied.
4 months later...
"So you're actually signing over the club yeah?" asked you. "Yep! I think and the lads can handle the club-they'll be fine." you replied smiling. "But its your baby-you set it up!" he said reminding you. "I know I know. But I cant work there any more-not with that bitch swanning around with that stupid smile on her face. And it'd be too hard with there 24/7." you said. "Hmm..I see what you mean!" he replied. Just then your phone rang. "Hello?!" you answered. "Hey ! Its me ." the voice said. "Oh hey!" you replied. "I need a favour. We're playing at the club tonight-a sort of celebration about us signing the club.." he continued. "Right..what dya need?!" you said. "Well its just one of our backing singers is ill and we need a replacement..quick! And we just thought that you might wanna do it.." "Well. I aint really got anything on tonight. So erm..yeah I could do it-" He cut you off "Oh great! Thanx !" This time you stopped him. "But if or comes anywhere near me Im off! I cant stand seeing them two together. Ok?" you explained. "Well that wont be a problem. They've split up." he told you. "Oh..right. Thats cool then. I'll be round at 6 ok?" "Yeah that's fine! See you then darlin.." said. As you hung up the phone you felt a strange feeling in your stomach. 'They've split up?!" you repeated to yourself.
You arrived at the club dead on 6. As you made your way backstage you spotted chatting with . 'Be strong . You are over it' you told yourself as you strolled over to where they were stood. "Oh hey!" said hesitantly. You hadn't spoke to him properly since you had stormed out of the flat 4 months ago. "Hi" you said bluntly. "Hey . You alright?!" you said smiling as you hugged him. "Yeah fine darlin. We're on at about half 7. So make sure you're ready for us!" he laughed. "I gotta go and pick and . See you later.." he said as he walked away. "Oh right. See ya then.." you said trailing off. Oh no! You had been left with . This was arkward. You started to speak. "So..how've you been?" you asked. "Erm. Fine. You?" he replied. "Yeah Im great!" You couldn't resist the next bit. "So hows things with whats-her-name..?" you said smiling. "Oh..we er split up last month. She started getting all clingy-annoying really!" he explained. Your eyes sparkled with delight. "I told you she was!" "Huh! Yeah I suppose you did..." he said laughing. You were amazed within 30 minutes you and had caught up on everything..he was acting like a mate again. But you still hadnt spoke about how he had chosen over you. Just then appeared with and in tow. "So.. you two getting along nicely now?" he said grinning. "I suppose you could say that!" said smiling at you. "How long we got before we gotta be on stage?" asked. "Bout 5 minutes. Why?" questioned. shook his head. "Come with me" he whispered in your ear as he grabbed your hand and lead you towards the stairs. "Where you going?" a voice shouted. "We'll be back soon!" said. "What we doing here?" you asked him as he sat you down on the sofa in the front room of your-his flat. It hadnt changed but it felt strange being there. You hadnt been there in 4 months. "I need to tell you something . Something I should've told you a long time ago. But I didnt cos I thought I didnt..but I did and I still do." he explained. You were confused. "What are you talking about?" you asked. "This is what Im talking about." he said. He kissed you. You pulled away shocked. "What..what was that?" you stuttered. "Im trying to tell you that I-I-I?" he mumbled. "What ! What do you?" He looked at you. "I love you" he announced quietly. You nearly choked. "What? No. No you dont. What do you mean?" you said the words tumbling out of your mouth. You didn't even let him speak. You stood up and quickly rushed downstairs. "What was all that about?!" asked you as you got downstairs. "Nothing." you said. followed you down the stairs. "C'mon. We gotta go on." said. looked at you. You looked down and quickly made your way onto the stage.
announced the band and they started to sing. After 4 songs stopped the band. "I wanna dedicate this next song to someone. Someone who is very special to me and I wish that she would come back in my life." He glanced at you. "It is 'If You Come Back!" he announced and people started to clap. You watched him throughout the song. Did he really mean it when he said 'I love you'? You couldn't stop thinking about it. The song finished and the lads and made their way off stage. You followed . "Come with me.." you whispered in his ear and this time you grabbed his hands and lead him upstairs. "What you doin?" he whispered as you got upstairs. "Sssh." you said placing a finger on his lips. You leant forward and kissed him softly. "..I love you." you said smiling. A grin spread across his face. He picked you up and pushed open the door to the flat. You didnt stop kissing until placed you on the bed. He lay next to you and said "Wow. I never thought you would come back." "Well I did. Im here now. I just wish we hadn't lost 4 months.." you replied. He kissed you again, and again...
