It would be strange if we all were the same,

All had blue eyes and had the same name.

With hair of brown and bodies the same size,

With all the same brains and equally wise.

We listen to the same music, we like the same foods,

We have the same feelings, we share the same moods.

But if society were like this, I'd have but one word to say,

So without further ado, without more delay...

It would be great if, regardless of skin,

Likes, or dislikes, we would all be akin.

We would be different with all of our choices,

We would unite, and sing with many voices.

There would be no need for violence, no fights and no wars,

Difference and uniqueness admired by more.

I would like to live in this world and say,

"Wouldn't it be strange if it wasn't this way?"
