Random Acts of Mindlessness
Random ramblings of a MAWG (Middle Aged White Guy)
He may be a rock star, but can he dance?
Uncertainty breeds caution, and uncertainty of the future abounds.

Amidst the jubilation of this historic occasion, I sincerely hope that those seeking retribution with their vote realize that the future is now their responsibility.

Righting all wrongs through the power of government speaks to the degradation of the American spirit of self-reliance and individuality.

We have set the bar of salvation very high, maybe unreachable by any man charged with that responsibility.

As it has always been, and frankly will always be in a free society, the responsibility for our destiny is in our hands alone.

America will only prosper in an environment driven by the people, not guided by the government.

The majority has spoken, and as a believer in this great experiment we call America, I sincerely hope they are correct.

As an advocate for the traditional values in life, I am concerned over our impetuous habit to latch onto the latest, newest, or never before experienced impulse.

Our proclivity to "have it now" has gotten this country into a hell of a lot of trouble.

We have given Barack Obama the mandate of FIXING IT FOR ME NOW.

He, and no one else, can possibly live up to that expectation.

There is much sacrifice in any measure of success, and there are no shortcuts.

The choice has been made, which may have been yours, but the future is now ours.
