"Performance, and performance alone, dictates the predator in any food chain."
Scene 1
Kendell leaned forward to the glass table in the
middle of the hotel room. She picked up the razor blade, the overhead light
glinting along the sharp surface. She looked at the blade, her blue eyes
reflecting in the cold, clear metallic surface. She smiled leaning forward with
the blade and cutting the powder into three neat lines across the glass table.
She picked up the hundred-dollar bill, which lay beside the neat white lines of
cocaine, and rolled in until it was perfectly cylindrical. She leaned forward so
that she was facing down on the glass table, placing the hundred dollar bill at
the start of the white line she placed the other end to her nose, closed her
pretty blue eyes and snorted the first of the white lines, feeling it hit her
sinuses. She moved onto the second line, feeling her head get slightly fuzzy
before moving onto the third and final line, holding one nostril and snorting
the cocaine with the other. She sat up smiling, sniffing hard so she could feel
the excess cocaine travel through her nose and down her throat leaving her with
a numbing sensation and a tingly feeling in her nasal passage. She rubbed her
index finger along the surface of the glass table picking up the remainder of
the white powder and brought her finger to her mouth, playfully rubbing the
white powder along her gums for that added effect. Her eyes glazed over and a
smile on her face she leaned back on the black leather chair and picked up her
glass of expensive champagne.
Kendell Smith: "That was exactly what I needed."
The man at the other side of the room smiled at
her. He was tall and broad with a great smile, he was what some women might have
seen as incredibly handsome, his dark hair slicked back, his body clad in an
expensive dolce and gabanna navy pin striped suit with the collar of his dress
shirt opened ever so slightly so that his collar bone was exposed. Kendell was
dressed just as expensively in a pink silk chiffon Valentino dress, which clung
to her perfect curves, topped off with matching Dior heels. She leaned her head
back on the couch letting the high envelope her, her back arched and her breasts
facing upwards, accentuated by the silk of the dress.
Man: "They're going to be wondering where you have
gone to.”
Kendell Smith: “Let them, I owe them nothing.”
She continued sitting back on the chair with her
head back and her eyes closed. The man moved from his chair over to her side
smiling as he noticed her nipples protruding through her dress. He sat on the
arm of the leather chair beside her and ran his strong hand gently down the
length of her arm. She opened her eyes slowly and turned her head to look at
him.
Kendell Smith: “What do you think you are doing?”
Man: “Baby I thought we could get better acquainted.”
Kendell Smith: “Well you thought wrong I don’t associated with Doctors. You’re
hardly the strongest men on the face of the planet.”
The man retracted his hand looking obviously
offended. She didn’t know his name and she didn’t care. She had met him down
stairs at the gala dinner she had to attend for wrestling publicity. She had
seen him wiping his nose on a couple of occasions and knew exactly what he had
been up to, so with a wiggle of her hips and a bit of eye lash batting she knew
she had him in the palm of her hand.
Man: “Well you gave all the signals down stairs.”
Kendell Smith: “And exactly what signals where they? I believe they where the
signals of a girl who needed some cocaine to liven up a charity dinner. You
couldn’t handle me even if I let you.”
Man: “Oh that sounds like a challenge to me.”
Kendell Smith: “Putting your shoes on the right feet would be a challenge for
you.”
She stood up off the chair and fixed her dress,
securing it around her chest so that nothing was exposed. She turned to the man
and smiled, putting her glass of champagne down and picking up her bag while the
man tried to get a glimpse down her dress. She turned on her heel and walked
towards the hotel room door.
Man: “You’re going?”
Kendell Smith: “Why would I be staying? I’ve gotten what I wanted.”
Man: “You can’t be serious! You fucking cock tease.”
Kendell Smith: “You can think about me when you put you hand on your dick
sweetheart. That’s about as close as somebody like you will ever get to someone
like me.”
The man looked angry as Kendell began to laugh,
turning the doorknob and opening the large white door out into the hallway. She
turned one last time giving him a wink and blowing him a kiss.
Man: “You don’t know what you’re missing.”
Kendell Smith: “You have nothing I haven’t had before.”
She smiled again before closing the door behind
her. She wiped her nose to make sure there was no excess cocaine lining her
face, then threw her bag over her shoulder and made her way down the long
hallway of the Royal Palms hotel, catching a glimpse of her self in one of the
large windows and smiling approvingly. She fixed her dress one more time before
entering the large doors into the main area where the gala charity dinner was
being held.
The room was large and lined with numerous tables, seating the wrestling elite.
The room elegantly decorated in streamers and ice sculptures. She had no time
for anybody there, she was simply there to further her career. She could care
less about terminally ill children and how her money could help cancer research.
She had better things to be spending her money on, but rather than get off to a
bad start at UWF she had decided to attend. People like this disgusted her,
people that sat around in there Gucci suits and Prada dresses giving money to
charity as if they are saints when in reality they spend the majority of their
money on flash accessories for themselves. Kendell was no better but at least
she was honest about be the materialistic bitch she was, she had never once
tried to sugar coat the fact that she was a woman who was driven by money and
excitement. She walked across the room to where the alcohol was, she wasn’t
about the grin and bear this while sober and it was only a matter of time before
the cocaine buzz wore off her and she was left with the that feeling she hated,
the dried up, dehydrated feeling of a cocaine come down. She picked up another
glass of champagne and brought it to her painted pink lips.
“Cocaine is God's way of saying you're making too
much money.”
Kendell turned, recognising the familiar voice.
In front of her smiling was the familiar face of Ben Richards, the UWF
interviewer. She smiled, leaning back against the table and lifting her knee
slightly, bringing the glass of champagne to her wet lips and placing her other
hand on the table behind her.
Kendell Smith: “Mr. Ben Richard’s I do believe following me around like this
pushes you into the category of stalker.”
Ben Richards: “No Kendell, you’re simply the last
wrestler here I need to interview before the end of the night. I’ve been looking
around for you the past hour and a half.”
Kendell Smith: “I was powdering my nose.”
He leaned forward and wiped the edge of her nose
gently as she continued to smile obviously not a bit embarrassed about being
caught with her nose white rimmed.
Ben Richards: “So I see.”
Kendell Smith: “If I wanted to be lectured about my drug use I’d go to NA
meeting on acid. Have you ever fucked on cocaine Ken, it’s mind blowing.”
Kendell licked her lips smiling teasingly and Ben
laughed slightly, getting used to Kendell’s unusual outlook on life.
Ben Richards: “Listen the camera crew are set up over
there by the UWF display, drugs or no drugs we need an interview tonight you
think you’re up for it?”
Kendell turned to look at the elderly couple who
where getting drinks beside her. The old man glanced in her direction with a
smile on his face while his wife was oblivious; too busy concentrating on
getting plastered. Kendell tapped the woman on the shoulder and smiled, the
elderly woman smiling back.
Kendell Smith: “Tell your husband I’m not a piece of meat and if he wants to
have a good look at my tits to buy this months playboy and turn to the center
page. There’s also a great picture there of my pussy.”
The elderly man’s jaw dropped and the woman
visibly offended by Kendell’s words looked on in disgust. Kendell began laughing
loudly drawing attention to her self from the bystanders. Ben was mortified and
apologised to the little old woman before taking Kendell’s hand and pulling her
away from the bar as she continued to laugh.
Kendell Smith: “Woo watch it Ken you’re turning me on. I love it rough.”
Ben Richards: “For the last time my name is Ben and
we’re going to do this interview now before you get yourself thrown out.”
He led her across the room where the camera crew
sat around where the equipment had been set up for interviews. She knocked back
the rest off her glass of champagne and slammed the glass down on the table next
to her drawing the attention to herself.
Ben Richards: “Ok lets get this show on the road
before she gets completely wasted.”
Kendell rolled her eyes at Ben’s attempt at a
snide remark. She had no time to argue with someone who obviously had his own
opinions about drug users. She was who she was, take it our leave it. Nobody’s
opinion of her had ever mattered and they weren’t about to start. She took her
place in front of the board, which was set up in front of the camera covered in
UWF logos. Ben handed her the mic and began giving directions to the camera
crew, Kendell wasn’t listening though she was too busy paying attention to her
coke buzz and watching the men walking past in suits. She was like a tiger
hunting for her prey when it came to men. She only ever hung around men that had
something she wanted. The men that fell at her feet never interested her that’s
why she had found Jason Lee intriguing. She knew he was different.
Ben Richards: “Ok well we’re just start with the
basics. You ready?”
Kendell Smith: “I sure am Ken.”
Ben ignored the fact that she had called him by
the wrong name once again and motioned to the cameraman to start rolling the
film. Kendell stood by Ben’s side, flashing her perfect smile at the camera.
Ben Richards: “I’m here with one of the newest
additions to the UWF roster Kendell Smith. Kendell how are you enjoying you
night so far?”
Kendell Smith: “Well if I am to be honest with you, I am bored out of my mind.
It’s about as interesting as watching Kristian Call wrestling, and lets face it
there aint nothing interesting about that.”
Ben Richards stood in shock for a second trying
to gain his composure and move on to the second question.
Ben Richards: “Well despite the, um, un-exciting
events of the night we are raising money for a great cause. We are here to raise
money for cancer research and the local children’s hospital.”
Kendell Smith: “Yea yea yes we’re all great people yadda yadda yadda. Come on
Ben? Nobody here cares about terminally ill children! This is just an excuse for
wrestling superstars to get hammered on over priced champagne and to feel better
about themselves because they are not the ones terminally ill. To be honest
though Ken I’ve never cared for children, they’re irritating and dirty. I’m hear
for the free booze and the hopes of getting a decent man to bend me over the
staircase out back and give me a good seeing too.”
The cameraman froze to the spot; his jaw dropping
open in disbelief while Ben Richards started to turn a bright pink not knowing
what to say next. Kendell stood, unfazed, smiling into the camera.
Ben Richards: “Um… well… moving on to UWF. Recent
occurrences have left the intercontinental title open for grabs and GBL has
announced that will be a gauntlet match that determines the next person to hold
the title. The winner of your up and coming match at adrenaline will
automatically go through for this shot. How are you feeling about all this?
Kendell Smith: “Well I’d be lying if I said I felt anyway nervous about taking
on Kandy and BJ this Monday. Kandy and BJ, they sound like names of bad extras
in a Seymore Butts movie. Where their mother’s strippers? Because those names
had to be given to them at birth there’s no way a woman in her right mind would
choose to be called BJ. I should change my name to Anal Sex and join this little
click of mindless bimbos that seem to grace the backstage hallways of UWF. I may
not have one my match last week but I will not lose my match this week. I don’t
care if it’s Kandy or BJ I will get the pin on one of them. Although it may be
easier to pin Kandy considering BJ’s ridiculously big breasts may get in the
way. She should seriously consider firing her plastic surgeon.”
Ben Richards: “So you’re confident about going
through to the Gauntlet Match?”
Kendell Smith: “Confident about going through to the Gauntlet match? I’m
confident about WINNING the gauntlet match. Look at me? I deserve to be the IC
champion just because I’m this damn good looking! Regardless of the fact that
when it comes to in ring ability I make your UWF champion look like the bitch. I
may not have dominated the Battle Royal due to my own personal reasons by I will
dominate in the gauntlet. Anyone that gets thrown in my direction will be
destroyed. I’m not the fuzzy lovey dovey female that men expect. I’m not the
woman who likes to wander around with more in my bra than in my head. I’ll take
this one step at a time I’ll concentrate more on the gauntlet after I kick the
shit out of BJ and Kandy but for now I have some serious drinking to do so I
don’t die of boredom.”
Ben Richards: “Well it’s been nice talking to you
again Kendell good luck with your match this week.”
Ben motioned for them to stop filming and turned
to Kendell looking slightly angry.
Ben Richards: “What the hell was that? Nobody cares
about terminally ill children? Anal Sex? Are you trying to get me fired?
Kendell Smith: “Come on Ken, you want me to lie and pretend to care? Anyway a
bit of Anal sex never hurt anybody… well… not a lot. Now excuse me, I must go
powder my nose as this cocaine buzz is beginning to wear off me.”
Extract From the Mind of Kendell Smith
I've never been much of a compassionate person. I was born with it all, the
looks, the money and the talent and I've never been fazed by anybody else. Some
people say I'm self-centered, heartless but those people are losers, the have no
idea what it's like being me. Being a winner all your life puts pressure on you
to become the best; to work you’re hardest. I never slack. I never stop trying
my best to be the best. I'm a woman who gets what she wants one hundred percent
of the time and right now what I want is success. Success in the ring and
success in life. I've always been driven, I don't want to be just another pretty
faced valet, when it comes to my career I want to be on top, I want to be number
one and if I have to demolish, destroy or sleep my way to the top then I will.
There is no such thing as second place to me; second place is another way of
saying the best loser. I've come to UWF to make my name heard, to have my power
felt, to have my presence effect everybody on the roster. There is no one on
that roster that has anything on me; I'm the most beautiful woman in the
business. I care not what the fans think; I care not what my fellow wrestlers
think. I love to see a woman go out and grab the World by the balls, life's a
bitch, you've got to go out and kick ass. Sometimes you have to be a bitch to
get things done. I've worked hard to get where I am and to become the woman I've
become and if that makes me a bitch than so be it I'm a bitch and I will wear
the name with pride.
