Some people relax with a book and a cup of coffee. Some people relax by sitting
with the one they love and watching their favorite film on TV. I was never big
on reading unless it involved something of a graphic sexual nature, and no Mills
and Boons romances novels 'he touched her feminine warmth' doesn't do it for me,
it has to be raw, hardcore and graphic, the type of stuff that makes a lot of
people cringe but yet arouses the senses. I don't drink coffee unless it's
Irished up with some whiskey. Why spend four dollars in starbucks for a caffeine
buzz that will wear of the system in less than thirty minutes, leaving you tried
and in a bad mood from the caffeine downer when you can spend that little bit
more and get hammered. Nothing relaxes the body more than alcohol, I think I
read that somewhere, probably on a bill board of some form but my point is that
films, loved ones, books and coffee are not the type of woman I am. I find my
own ways of relaxing before match time and it doesn't involve your usual
princess crap.
SCENE 1
She walked down the busy street where flashing
lights invited her in to numerous strip clubs and bars. The hustle and bustle of
tourists and drunks added to the electricity in the air. She loved Las Vegas,
the city of sin, the only place where she felt she belonged, where she knew
everyone had the same life ideas as she did. After her win on Monday at
adrenaline she felt it was time to go have a good time in preparation of the
match ahead. Beating Tony Viction was just the groundwork; she knew she had a
lot more to do before she could be happy and before the gold would be hers. A
group of drunk fraternity boys pushed passed her, singing some form of
Neanderthal chant at the top of their lungs while eyeing her suggestively. She
rolled her eyes and continued walking; ignoring the scream and wolf whistles of
lower class hormonal males. She glanced at the petite gold Rolex, which lined
her delicate wrist and smiled. She had plenty of time, she wouldn't be meeting
Jeff for another five minutes, and here she was rushing like the World was about
to end. She stepped up the bar where she was supposed to be meeting Jeff and
looked around. No sign of his as usual, she thought as she let out a long sigh
before leaning back against the wall waiting for him to arrive.
Homeless Man: "Can you spare some change?"
She turned and looked at the old man who was
sitting crouched against the corner of the wall, sitting on a cardboard box. His
cloths where dull, dirty and ragged and his face was unshaven, his grey beard
falling down and touching his chest. He held a small McDonald's cup in one hand,
which was full of loose change. She looked at him in disgust. She could never
understand why bums like him couldn't just get up off their lazy Asses and work
for their money like the rest of the World had to instead of depending on the
kindness of others. This was America, the place dreams where made of, the only
super power in the World and here this man was begging for money for food which
would more than likely be spent on alcohol instead. She could smell the foul
stench of stale whiskey off him from where she was standing and yet he still
expected her to give him money for more. He made her sick, there where people
less fortunate in the World that would love to be in the position he is, living
in America where he had numerous opportunities. He was worse than those boarder
jumping Mexicans, at least they had an excuse for being pathetic, they where of
lesser class than Americans' She took the chewing gum she had been chewing from
between her painted pink lips and flicked it into his McDonald's cup with a
smirk. He looked into the cup then looked up at her, a look of shock and disgust
in his eyes. He obviously wasn't expecting such hostility from a woman with such
and angelic face.
Homeless Man: "Selfish people like you make me sick.
How do you sleep at night?"
Kendell Smith: "In a bed, with a roof over my head."
Kendell laughed to herself and leaned forward,
looking the old man dead set in his sad eyes. She smirked and laughed out loud
as the man continued to talk. She just ignored his ramblings and walked in
through the glass doors of the bar. Maybe Jeff was inside, she thought to
herself slipping out of her black leather jacket and passing it to the man
taking jackets at the door. She looked around the foyer part the club, seeing no
sign of him she decided to walk inside and let him follow. She walked through
the silver streamers which where in place instead of a door. The dark room was
lit with neon lights of purple and pink. The floors where black marble,
dangerous she thought, a claim waiting to happen. Each table that lined the room
in from of the stage where chrome, the bar was also chrome with the same neon
lights illuminating the edges of it as well as the selection of drinks behind
it. She glanced around the room, looking for Jeff's familiar face as the music
blasted in the background. Numerous faces looked back at her none of which she
recognized. She began to walk through across the bar, hoping to see Jeff on the
other side of the stage. He sat in front of a chrome table, watching the stage
and occasionally lifting his drink to his lips. She smiled and walked towards
him.
Kendell Smith: "Couldn't wait a few minutes for me outside no?"
Jeff turned when he heard Kendell's familiar
voice and smiled up at her. A smile that had made many a woman's under garments
drop to the floor by their ankles. He pulled her a seat out from under the table
and motioned for her to sit down.
Jeff: "How can you expect me to wait outside a strip
club when there are numerous naked women on the inside? I'm male, that was never
going to happen."
She laughed and took the seat beside him. Before
she could say anything else a shadow was cast over her table. She turned to see
a blonde busty woman with a tray standing in front of her, an empty smile
plastered across her face. She wore little clothing, leaving little to the
imagination. She looked awkward in her heels. The make up plastered on her face
didn't hide her youth; Kendell wondered how such a young woman had lost the
innocent glow in her eyes. The price of living in the city of sin, it cost you
your innocence.
Waitress: "What can I get y'all to drink?"
Her southern drawl was thick and youthful. She
was a long way away from home. Her smile fake she continued to stare down at
them, her tray neatly propped up on her arm ash she waited for their order. Jeff
turned, eyeing the young girls chest and smiled. Kendell sniggered, he had
always liked his women that little bit younger, impressionable, and it left them
open for all kinds of moulding. He leaned forward to her as she blushed
slightly, obviously used to attention from perverted old men that came here to
get a glimpse at some young ass, not the attention of someone as charming and as
handsome as Jeff could be when he wanted something. He held up his glass and
winked.
Jeff: "Same again sweetheart. I'm drinking fast so I
can see you wiggle back and forth over to my table."
She continued to blush as Kendell rolled her
eyes. Where women really that stupid that they fell for such sickeningly
deceitful lines? Apparently so, the waitress face lit up with his attempt at a
compliment. Kendell coughed, interrupting the moment. The girl needed to realize
this wasn't 'Pretty Woman' and she wasn't going to land the love of the
good-looking millionaire.
Kendell Smith: "I'll have a vodka, straight, just ice."
She wrote the order down quickly on her note pad
and began to walk off towards the bar while smiling at businessmen in suits who
occasionally reached out and grabbed her ass. Kendell shook her head, why any
woman would allow men to gain control over them was beyond her. She played the
games with the men in her life she ran the show. She turned back to Jeff who was
licking his lips and looking at the woman dancing on a silver pole in front of
them She rubbed her fake breasts up and down the pole, while pouting like a
fish. Dressed in a navy blue police woman's outfit, the back of which crept up
and clung to her buttocks, topped off with a leather hat, black stockings and
heels and a whip just for that classy look. Kendell sniggered as the female on
stage pulled her top down revealing her bad boob job while the men in the
audience drooled into their drinks pathetically. She couldn’t see the
attraction; sexual attraction was about the chase, after all we where all
animals and we all loved the hunt.
Kendell Smith: “If this is going to turn into a night where you start jacking
off to transsexual looking strippers while I drink myself under the table then
you’re on your own Jeff. I’m as open minded as the next girl but that woman
clearly has a bulge in the front of her pants.”
Jeff began laughing, turning away from the
stripper who was now barely dressed and gyrating along the stage like a worm.
Jeff: “You jealous honey?”
He reached out and touched her cheek but she
pulled away frowning as he continued to laugh. She hated when he patronised her.
He knew quite well her feelings towards him where strictly platonic. She had
never had feelings for a man beyond lust and occasionally friendship. She didn’t
feel the need, like most women, to associate herself with members of the
opposite sex whilst looking for a husband. She watched the women around UWF and
laughed. Too busy wondering what they’ll call their first-born, they should have
been concentrating on life not on love. Love was myth, something hallmark made
up to sell the idiotic cards and fuzzy toys once a year. There were only two
things Kendell loved, herself and winning.
Kendell Smith: “I’m serious Jeff. I’m here to celebrate my win over Tony Viction
and taking another step up the career ladder not hand you the tissues while
yourself abuse yourself.”
Jeff: “Congratulations by the way, I sat at home and
watched it all on TV. Who thought watching a woman fighting a sweaty man could
be so hot.”
Kendell Smith: “Ha fucking ha you should be a comedian Jeff.”
Their little dispute was interrupted when the
waitress wobbled back over to the table, two drinks in hand. She placed them
down on the table and smiled arching her bag so that we both got a clear view of
her cleavage. Jeff looked at me and smiled as if his confidence had just
skyrocketed through the roof. Kendell rolled her eyes again and picked her drink
up from the table putting it to her lips and taking a sip. The bitterness of
vodka relaxed her as she sat back in her chair watching the stripper on stage
touch and rub herself for the pleasure of the male audience. Classy woman,
Kendell thought. Jeff and the waitress continued to talk back and forth while
Kendell drank up her drink falling into a daydream about adrenaline and her
career. It was all that mattered in her life right now, being number one and
dominating where she could. Tony Viction would be the first in a line of many.
She had sworn after losing her title shot to Hitman that it would be the last
time a mediocre wrestler would get the better of her. She had bigger plans for
her career, she had bigger names she wished to conquer but first she must take
apart the weak. Jeff’s voice brought her back to reality.
Jeff: “So I guess beating Tony Viction was a big
enough win for you last week.”
Kendell Smith: “Beating Tony Viction is something half the roster has done, I
wouldn’t call it anything special just another one to add to the list.”
Jeff: “So who’s the lucky, or should I say unlucky,
opponent this week?”
Kendell Smith: “Christine Daae, Blair and Tyra Blaze.”
Jeff: “Who?”
Kendell Smith: “Exactly.”
Jeff sniggered slightly as Kendell picked up her
drink, watching the stripper on the stage pick her dollar notes. She began
sipping her vodka again thinking about her up and coming match. Another walk in
the park. Confidence was a virtue Kendell was born and raised with.
Jeff: “Well to be completely honest I’ve never heard
of any of them.”
Kendell Smith: “Not worth hearing about really. You know how I feel about divas
and diva matches. They’re just put there for masturbation material, they’re not
real wrestlers and they’re not real wrestling matches. Christine Daae is here
the avenge her lovers death dun dun dun.”
Kendell begins laughing loudly as Jeff stares on
in confusion. Christine in her eyes was the perfect example of a stupid female.
If she hadn’t of become so attached to a man with all this ‘love’ crap then she
wouldn’t be moping around like a wet pussy because of his untimely death.
Kendell Smith: “I give her two months before she’s screwing somebody on the male
roster like every other fucking joke of a Diva here. It’s pathetic, makes me
sick. Women looking for love goddamn idiots. I’ll be honest though I wont tease
her about being a rookie to the business, we all have to start somewhere but she
should know that rookie’s get burned in this game, just like her precious Erik
got burned.”
The music in the background changed to a more
upbeat tempo as a new stripper came onstage dressed as a cowgirl. Kendell rolled
her eyes, could this strip club be any more cliché?
Kendell Smith: “Blair on the other hand well she won her match last week. It was
however against the bubble gum porno reject, Kandy, which doesn’t really give
her any credibility. She likes to make herself out to be some kind of badass.
Woo she smokes you better watch out. Pshh I’ll kick her ass if the cancer
doesn’t get her first. I just hope she wears pants, I don’t want to be gagging
while fighting her just because I’ve to look at her hideous burnt legs. She may
be slightly different than the other women in the match, she may not wear the
make up and walk the walk of a diva but she is still below me and I will still
show her what it means to be a dominant female. I don’t have to dress like a man
to put the fear of God into the heart of other female wrestlers. Blair should
know that dressing like a dyke wont win her matches. It takes more than a tough
exterior to be a winner in this game. It takes somebody like me, strong on the
inside and on the outside, phased by nothing in life. Confidence and apathy is
what I’m built off and Blair will find that out this coming adrenaline.”
Jeff gazed a head at the new stripper
occasionally turning his head to acknowledge Kendell’s existence. She didn’t
care if he was interested or not she liked to talk about her career and once she
got started there was no stopping her. She liked to vent her frustration.
Jeff: “Wasn’t there another girl too?”
Jeff spoke without taking his eyes off the
stripper on stage. Kendell smiled. He was taking interest in what she enjoyed
which she found quite amusing as Jeff usually took no interest in things that
didn’t involve him.
Kendell Smith: “Yea one more girl Tyre Blaze.”
He broke his stare and turned to look at Kendell,
lifting his drink to his mouth and smirking his blue eyes ablaze with curiosity
and mischief.
Jeff: “And?”
Kendell Smith: “And What?”
Jeff: “And tell me more about her?”
Kendell Smith: “Since when did you start taking such an interest in my career?”
Jeff: “Since I’ve to start listening to you constantly
talk about it and since your head started growing over the normal human size.”
Jeff sniggered teasing Kendell. She smiled and
picked her drink up looking at him over the rim as she poured the remainder of
the vodka down her throat and into her system.
Kendell Smith: “I haven’t seen much of her around. I just now she’s an ethnic
minority and therefore lower class and weaker than me. It’s a fact that white
women are stronger did you know that? I read it in an encyclopaedia.”
Jeff: “An encyclopaedia of crap”
Kendell Smith: “Whatever, don’t believe me then but I’ll show you when I kick
her ass at adrenaline. I’ll prove that I am the dominant female force on the
roster. That I, above anyone else, will take UWF to new levels. That I was born
a winner and will die a winner. Christine Daae, Blair and Tyra Blaze will have
their hands full this week because I plan to make this so called divas match
hardcore. I don’t do diva and I don’t lose to prissy bitches that stuff their
bras. I’m going all the way Jeff, I can feel it and the Lord knows I damn
deserve it. I worked hard to get where I am and aint no bitch wrestlers that
should have spent their days as valets going to take that away from me. This
week at adrenaline I plan to dominate once again making it my second win in a
row and pushing me closer to my goal. Slowly but surely the roster will fall at
the hands of Kendell Smith and it will start with these three women.”
Jeff leaned forward smiling. Kendell raised an
eyebrow unsure of what exactly he was smiling about or what plans where running
through his sick little mind. His cologne filled her senses as he moved nearer.
If he tries to kiss me I’m going to kick his ass.
She looked his dead in the eye as he moved in
front of her before dropping his eyes to her drink. She followed his stare and
realised he had just dropped something into her drink. Her drink fizzed slightly
before simmering down as the white pill evaporated into the vodka.
Jeff: “Well let’s get this celebration under way
then.”
