Hours on the plane seemed to drap on. Katherine didn't know how long they'd been on it, but it was driving her insane.
When they had gotten to the airport, guards swarmed it like bees to their honey. They past at least six of them without a second thought from one guard.
Nick and Katherine were nervous the whole time. But there they were, striding down the busy walkways, hands tightly clasped together.
They never said a word, and Katherine, now safe on the plane, wondered if it was just a precaution or a sign of being deatly frightened.
Nick hid it well. He strutted down the hall, but not enough to draw attention.
Katherine looked at Nick. He was sleeping, his brown hair brushing his head faintly. His lips slightly pierced. Nick's left hand was dangling limply.
Katherine tangled her fingers with his. She was still anxious. What were they going to do when they got in Australia?
"Hello," Nick said softly, stirring from his sleep.
"Hullow," she replied with her accent, "did you sleep well?"
He nodded. He looked at their entertwined hands. "They always end up like that, don't they?"
"Yeah, they do." She paused. "What are we gonna in Aussie?"
"Visit this man...he lodged the crew before...maybe he has a seperate lodge somewhere. Sound good?"
"Whatever gets your goat," she shrugged.
"Can you use an American voice?"
"Yeah, why? What are you thinking?" she asked, getting the accent down pat.
"They're looking for a brunette Brit and a blond American. But all they're gonna get is a blond girl and brunette boy. Both American."
"Two more Yanks, what does the world need?" she teased.
"One polite Brit, so be quiet. You'll wake the dead."
"You're such a Yank. Assuming too much. Not all Brits talk a lot."
"Yeah, you're right...you talk a lot."
She punched him in the arm playfully. "Tramp."
"Witch."
"Devil."
"Idiot."
"Bi-sexual!"
"Slut!"
Katherine cackled softly. "You're a gentlemen, Yank!"
"You started it."
"Liar."
"Push-over."
"Ogar."
"Hag."
"Jackass."
"You know what? I'm gonna be the mature one and end this fight now," Nick told her.
"Buttmuncher!"
Nick clamped a hand on her mouth. "Shut up."
