It was the year 1995, and Nick was at AJ's house. They had been talking about girls, a typical guy conversation. But suddenly, Juliette's name came up.

"Yeah, there are some hot girls in Orlando. Your friend, Juliette�now she is some beautiful chick!" Nick was saying, smiling at the thought of her.

"First of all, she's two years older than you, and second of all, she has a boyfriend, namely: Brandon Mapelli. Stop dreaming now, Carter, cause the time will never come," AJ replied, half joking and half not.

"AJ, I am totally serious with this. I really think that I have fallen in love with someone, and she's not even my age." Nick's face became serious, and he wasn't smiling anymore. His eyes were pleading for AJ to believe him, and all he could think about was when he was older, maybe around twenty, and she would definitely fall in love with him.

"Are you serious? You mean that Jules is your first love?"

"You can't help it once you're in love, Bone, and I think I'm in love. I never felt this way before�you have, right? So you should tell me how to react cause I'm new to this." Nick sighed, and looked around the living room. Nobody was home but them, and he hoped that no one would come soon. He liked being able to tell somebody a secret, knowing that no one would overhear.

"I don't know what to say. I think the first thing you should do is tell her�wait, no. The first thing you should do is think about how you feel, I think. How do you know you're definitely in love?"

"Well, I get this tingle in my stomach everytime she enters the room that I'm in, and I just get so excited, you know? I try to talk to her as much as possible and not make a fool out of myself, but sometimes, I just can't help it. I go completely insane whenever she smiles at me�but AJ, you have to swear not to tell anyone this. You should be happy that I'm even telling you. I haven't even told my mom�not even Brian. You really can't tell anyone!"

"All right, all right! God, you make it sound lethal if I tell someone! But I won't, I promise. Learn to trust me. I'm really bad at secrets, but if it's this important to you, then I won't tell. But anyway, it seems like my little brother has fallen head over heels for Juliette Summers, and it's gonna be a while before he actually gets her. If he even gets her." AJ smiled at his friend hoping for a smile back, but only found a frowning response.

"Can't you be serious about this? I mean, this is the first time I've ever fallen in love before, and you're acting like it's a joke. Well, it's not. And I'm hoping that in the near future, I will get Juliette, cause she's the girl of my dreams, alright?"

"Alright, buddy. Just don't get those hopes too high."

Nick sighed and closed his eyes, falling into a miniature reverie of him and Juliette together as a happy couple�
