| Poo |
| January 1996 - July 7 2000 Poo, was my fish. I loved him very dearly, and he died last night. I know, I'm probably gonna get mail, telling me to grow up, but, this was my fish, who I had for 4 years, and livied right next to by bed the whole time, in a small fish tank, by himself, cause thats the way he liked it. He was a cute little gold fish, who was black and silver when I got him, but over the first 2 years, turned to the normal color of gold that gold fish are. When I got him, he had two friends join him on his journey to his new home, Motor Scooter, and Poop. Poop was the smallest, and therefore, he was the first to go, as Poo, not being the nice type, ate his tail. Then, I got an allge eater, to clean out the filthy tank (I'm not joking, you couldn't see inside of it), but I got one that was like really tiny, like a centimeter long. That was a mistake, cause as soon as I put him in the tank, Poo chased him around for hours, until, the poor liitle guy gave up, and died. Poo was picking athim when I found him. I still had and allge problem, so, I bought a bigger allge eater, one of those big ass ones that suck on the side of the tank, and are really ugly. Well, everything was going great at first, my tank was clean as the first day it was set up, and Poo, Motor Scooter, and Glen (my Allgee eater) were all quite happy. But then, the water developed allgee, and you couldn't see a thing. The sides were still clean as a whistle, but, the water was green and murky. Glen couldn't do anthing with this problem. One night, when all seemed well, I peered into the tank, trying to catch a glimps of my poor fish, and all I could see was Glen, sucking away on the side of the tank. A few hours later, while I was trying to sleep, I peered over again, and I couldn't find Glen, cause he's usually so obvious; i mean, this big ugly mouth sucking on the side of the tank....he wasn't hard to miss, but I couldn't find him! I stared a searching for him more percisly, and I found him, well, not all of him...his bones were laying on the bottem of the tank, just as if he had been there for years, and had rotted away..but the last time I saw him, was a few hours before, and he was whole then!!! I then saw my little Poo swim by, quite innoccently. My little Poo, he was so great, but, unfortunatly, a bit of a canabal. Motor Scooter Died soon after that, he tail was mysteriously chewed, and ever since, Poo has been a hermit fish. He was quite happy by himslef, just swiming around, making funny faces at me, and just being silly. I never attempted to put more fish in with him, as OI knew he was happy by himself. He was so healthy - his tail was lond, and shimmered in the light, his fins were long, and plentiful, and he was beautiful. People are going to say, "He was just a fish", ut he was MY fish, and now hes gone... When I looked over into his tank last night, and discovered him dead, his tail was laying across the rocks on the bottem, shimmering in the light. I love you Poo, and I miss you!!! |
