Gollum the Guinea Pig

Gollum is a cute little cross bread peruvian/abyssinian Guinea Pig. I saw him in the pet store one day while my cousin was looking for something, and from the moment I saw him, I knew that I'd be taking the little guy home! He just looked up at me with his sweet little black eyes, and started hoping around the cage...henceforth, we called that little dance, the happy hop!
I went home, and begged and begged my parents to let me get him, but there was so much that was keeping me from getting him! I didn't have a cage, I didn't know how to take care of them...all I knew was that I had to take him home!!

So, after a few days of convincing, mom and dad finally agreed to let me take him home! But, that didn't go to well eiather, caues I had no idea how to care for him! My dog, Blackie loved him, and everyone else came around to.
He bites...which is unfortunate, cause he looks sooo cuddly and lovable...but you have to be very careful with him, cause he will take your finger right off!!
He loves attention, and when it all comes down to it, he just wants to cuddle with his mom...
He needs to be picked up all the time, cause if not he gets sooky, and tips over his food dish and house! Whenever Blackie comes in the room with him, and doesn't pay attention to him, he lets out these BIG squeals, and then gets sooky until he pays some attention to him! Blackie cleans him, and Gollum looks forward to it, much more than he looks forward to getting a bath!! Which is nessesary for his long hair...well, the parts of it anyways!!
I recently got a new Guniea Pig, Gidget, who Gollum absolutly adores! He trys to have sex with her, but he doesn't get the fact that she's still too young to get pregnant! (not that it matters too much to him when he smells her in heat! Oh do they kick up a big fuss when she's in heat!! Sqweeking, and jumping!!
When I brought Gidget home, and introduced the two little piggies, Gollum just looked at her, then at me, with this look like, "MOM! You gave me sex for Christmas!!" It was priceless!
Gollum has this halrious belly! Its 2 differnt colors, but its split right down the center!! He's got a great personality, when he's not biting...
He's always up for some food, especially when there's veggies involved! He loves his treat time! He gets so excited when he smells it, or hears it! Yep! Feeding time is a grand event here!!! They both get so excited! Jumping around, wood chip flying everywhere!! Houses getting tipped over, food dishes flying across the cages...its quite a sight!!
